it was really good food and they had a live band "Surefire" playing on Saturday night
Great music and drinks. I loved the vibe of the place and the servers were super friendly. Great place to go!
amazing friendly staff, the owner is absolutely amazing. the drinks and food are yummy ? amazing view . if you ever want a friendly family experience I highly recommend stopping here ??❤
If you haven’t had Seadogs clam chowder yet, just do it! It is the absolute best, especially in their bread bowl! We had just discovered this hidden gem in Newport just before they moved to Lincoln City, and finally made the trip tonight to grab some chowder & I was so happy nothing had changed! Good service & great food… we will be back!
very cool place with lots of interesting stuff to look at. the food is delicious! fun place. great staff.
We’ve been for lunch and now for brunch - great food, friendly staff, a great spot for the kids too!
We loved sea dogs , the atmosphere, food ,service ( we had Jen and met Jules) both very nice.Prices are good . Will definitely go back .
Perfect date night, great music , food was delicious, country home atmosphere Highly recommend this place
We got there early because the parking is very poor. We were seated and waited 30 minutes only to be told they didn't have the ingredients for the cocktail. I had to show them how to make it. We wanted breakfast as advertised on the internet. No Breakfast. We ordered the lobster roll only to get langostine. It had never seen lobster in it's life. The only good part of the meal was the French Fries. After terrible service. They were really quick with the bill, didn't even offer dessert. We are locals and told them we were when we were seated. Restaurants usually go the extra mile for locals. They didn't care.Wew ill not go back!
Edit because the original post has all capital letters in the beginning, no matter what it is.I have traumatized myself after the events of going here. It’s a one and done. I could make a chapter book of this horrible mess I went to as said SEADOGS. No offense but if your family or gluten-free family planned a dinner here, you have made a bad decision. As someone is asking for a menu listing all the things that’s gluten free or not, this guy tells some person in a very unusually rude tone “Yes, our menus are available online”.As me and my entitled family orders as radio music plays on the background (I’ve seen people do this before), one of the employees pulls down her mask (She’s Female) whatsoever when we were ordering. I’m not going to mention anything about that entitled waitress. What could go wrong next?SEADOGS has a attached pool table and video game room from the Yaquina Bay shore which is pretty nice, although I don’t see it often in weird restaurants. When we got our orders, that’s a different story. My fish and chips were all *breathes* very flashy cause they didn’t fry them well enough. Same went to my entitled sister’s chicken tenders whatsoever except the liquid batter on the inside. We were also charged $8 for substituting mashed potatoes instead of broccoli and also the completely raw and bloody steak. When asked why there was a $8 charge for that, that same rude guy told us and will say it all caps, “WELL NEXT TIME YOU’LL ASK!!!”Well played, Newport. You have yourself a recipe for the worst gluten-free allergy restaurant ever. I used to call it the “worst restaurant ever” but now I am older and there is another restaurant I would like to talk about soon.

great food and a really cool place! make sure to check out upstairs
This place is awesome! Amazing seafood, great atmosphere. Very historic building with a whole museum inside- so many interesting things to see. It is an experience- make a day of it!!! This is going to be a hoppin’ spot in Lincoln City!
My husband & 4 of our friends went to Seadogs for a casual, fun lunch while visiting Newport. While at first we thought our bartender/server Tia might be a lot of fun, we quickly found her to be obnoxious. She was drinking while on duty, literally threw our napkins & silverwear on our table as if it would amuse us, told inappropriate prison jokes, and left us unattended for long periods of time with no drinks or food. She assured us the lobster pasta dishes we ordered would come with crab as a substitute for the lobster they were out of (which they didn't- we paid $27 for each “average” salmon pasta because she was unwilling to accommodate us unless we wanted a free shot), and then to top it off....she aggressively grabbed both of our husbands rear ends on the way out. While we use to like Seadogs food, music & service, but the level of disrespect we received this last trip is enough to drive us elsewhere. Not worth the $250 we spent at lunch! Tia, you’re better than that! Please carry yourself professionally!
Amazing amazing amazing! We went for brunch and our waitress Tonya was a true delight and modicum of perfect service. She also makes an amazing bloody Mary’s or Maria that stands up on her own with a peg leg. The sun was sparkling off the seashore because of her mermaid magic. The hollandaise flowed like ambrosia from above, and everything was really yummy yummy. We had the best morning, and you can take your dog!! Thank you.
Run away , do not stop, food was terrible took over 40 minutes to come after the delay when ordering, drinks were a good price. The cute blonde bartender was nice and made good drinks. But then this big fat chick came on to bartend, and while waiting the 40 min for our food she got some food, put it on a table and proceeded to eat while tending bar and bossing everyone around. Oh and my husband’s quesadilla was burnt and had old cheese in it , terrible , and beer spilled and dry on window ledge and down wall , pool table filthy, food crumbs all over it
