I love, love, love this hotel! Definitely the place for a book lover to stay on their visit to the Oregon Coast. Every room is thoughtfully and creatively decorated and furnished, immersing each guest into the lives of different authors. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed meeting other guests in common areas. A wonderful experience all-round. I will certainly be staying here again.

This trip was a bit of a roller coaster, but let me dive into it.

I wanted to write my novel while looking out at the stormy sea like a character in a Jane Austin novel and for my birthday, my husband delivered. We stayed in the Tolkien room which had these amazing murals and other decorations. The food was Incredible and the experience of talking about books and travel with the other guests was so fun.
