It took about 10 minutes to walk from the Inn. I made a reservation for 5:30, and it wasn't too crowded, probably because it was raining in November, so I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. All the appetizers look delicious♪

We came here last night as a party of 4 and it was a first visit for myself and my husband. He ordered the crab & Newport shrimp macaroni & cheese and I had their grass-fed burger, cooked medium rare. My husband said it was the best Mac & Cheese ever and my burger was very good. Service was great and we shared a triple berry tart a la mode afterwards, which we also thought was very delicious.

Burgers ? they were disgusting no flavor the only exciting part about the burger was it that they actually served whole leaf instead of shredded.. very bland. Ordered coffee was not offered any refill.. I felt the service was lacking. We had three different people with all of the same opinion. High prices for low quality food ?

We were very disappointed with our lunch, we have eaten there before and had wonderful food. I had a tuna melt and cup of chowder, my wife just had chowder. The tuna was did not appear to be albacore like the menu said, the cheese was not melting and the taste of the sandwich was off enough that I only ate most of one half. I had also requested no tomato and it had tomato (I’m used to that at nearly every restaurant so that’s not really a complaint). The chowder was tasty and hot but was lacking in most anything other than creamy broth. The fries were very good and the staff was very attentive and friendly.

We had a great experience here for a special occasion. The salmon and catch of the day entrees were wonderful. The Calamari appetizer was some of the best we have had. The Marionberry cheesecake was amazing. Great artwork was painted on the walls and the staff were attentive and friendly.

I decided to give this place a 2nd chance. Service no go, food fantastic amazing. Will only order take out.
Today my husband and I went here to try it again as we absolutely love Georgies. And said we should try here then. Plus there is outdoor seating for the dogs. I made reservations, specifically for outdoor told them we had dogs. They tried to seat me inside. No biggie. Mistakes happen. It took 8-10 minutes before we were approached at our table. Our dogs needed water. The lady sat after us, had already been served drinks and chowder before we received water. We spent $150.00 here, I would have expected a bit better. I asked for a piece of chicken for the dogs. Was told they had dog meals, never told the price, would have never spent $18 for a piece of salmon and a bunch of broccoli and rice. Prices need to be told ahead of time. We were never checked on one time after receiving our food, not for drink refills nothing, not to ask how the food was. I had to personally go inside and ask for our togo boxes and check, then go inside and pay. I spent less at Georgies and had the best service ever. If this restaurant is supposed to be the training restaurant, then someone needs some customer service help.
Now the food was absolutely fantastic, absolutely amazing!! Best clam chowder, steamer clams to die for, and the mac n cheese holy cow!! I could eat that every day!! GREAT JOB TO THE CHEFS!!! Thats why I give 4 stars this time.
When I go back for mac n cheese and chowder when I come back into town it will be for takeout only.
Parking: Its not a huge parking lot, but there is huge public parking right across the street. And there is street parking. We had no problems parking our Chevy in their lot though

I wanted my parents to try my favorite picks from the menu while they were visiting, the fish tacos, diablo bites and Cesar salad never disappoint!!! everything was delicious as always!! The staff is so friendly and the cooks are the best, always smiling and making you feel so welcomed. Ohh and this time we were lucky to grab a slice of their delicious chocolate cake, not the lava but the other, I just can’t remember the name ???

The food was phenomenal, the staff exceptionally kind & prompt, & the atmosphere was a quiet neighborhood feel—less touristy—yet still had views of the ocean! Fresh fish, fresh veggies, & house made salad dressings that are top tier. I highly recommend!

Came in with my girlfriend and pup for my first time to Newport The food was really good and so was the coffee! My server Gabriella was AWSOME and very attentive. They had a dog menu with healthy sized portions for a reasonable price! All in all would totally recommend and will definitely be coming back!
