This was quite literally the greatest dining experience I’ve ever had the pleasure of having. We arrived just before our reservation to an empty restaurant and Zach immediately greeted us and sat us down to our table. He did everything for us, hosting, serving, cooking, and bartending. Was very kind but also very to the point. We made sure not to wear any fragrances per the website which I recommend you read. Everything brought out was one of a kind, leaving us with a dish that was fresh and interesting as well as so delicious it could end wars. Not mention how brilliantly paced it was, seconds after finishing a dish Zach would emerge to collect our plates and check in. Then within 2 minutes the next would be out and ready. We never heard anything back in the kitchen as the wizard worked his magic. Leaving us with a quiet but not awkward romantic serene moment to enjoy our food. I would rate it higher if I could. The food was ridiculously reasonably priced for the quality and service, not to mention the freshness of ingredients. I will make it a priority to eat dinner and perhaps even lunch or breakfast here every time I find myself in Newport. Thank you Zach! Your resume was a pleasure to read!

I just enjoyed one of the most spectacular meals that I have ever eaten! It does require reservations but the owner/chef works hard to make sure that your meal is wonderful. It is a one-man operation but we never felt ignored or forgotten. I had the black cod and it was melt in your mouth tender. It was served with Brussels sprouts, local mushrooms and a quinoa cake that was out of this world. The dessert was a lemon napoleon with raspberry compote. The lemon curd was absolutely amazing! I will be coming here again, soon.

You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Some reviews mention it’s not seasoned enough. That happens when you expect fast food quality in a quality food place 😅 Pay attention and you can taste how fresh and good the ingredients are. From the homemade batter to the desert everything just tasted soooo good. I can’t stretch this enough! 👍

We had a wonderful experience! Zach is a one man show-an excellent chef and gracious host. Our meals were fabulous-fabulously fresh salad with local tomatoes, cucumbers, and greens, warm delicious biscuits, a perfectly cooked cod entree, a phenomenal cheese soufflé with pluots, and a delicious flourless chocolate cake with local berries, hazelnuts, and cream-a wonderful end to a wonderful meal!

Incredible. A owner chef server in 1 human, for the food and atmosphere to be so top notch, is remarkable. To do most or all of the menu gluten-free brings Zach to near sainthood.
We didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised at each dish. Thoughtful preparation, top notch ingredients, and kind and attentive service. This is our new favorite place in our favorite coastal town. We'll be back, often.
Please honor Zachs wishes and leave the perfumes and colognes for another time. Zach is sensitive and we agree, too much of that stuff ruins the tasting experience.
