Captain's Choice Fish House

They weren't full and we still had a long wait for our food.

It’s been over a month because I wanted to wait to see if I would get any feedback from the complaint card I filled out and after about two weeks, I called the restaurant and asked to talk to the owner. The gal on the phone said that she couldn’t give me their information but she could take my information and give it to them and they would contact me. I still haven’t heard anything so I have no other choice but to tell you what happened. I have had the shrimp and crab hoagie sandwich before and it has always been really really good, one of my favorites. However, the last time I had one, it was scorched and chewy, the shrimp tasted funny and I think that was because it was scorched I told the waitress what I felt and she said it was because they changed the way they baked it. I asked why did they change and she said she didn’t know. Well it is no longer my favorite and I’m sad about it because it’s hard to come by $15 and when I can afford it this is not what I expect. She handed me a complaint card, I filled it out and I have not heard anything neither from or regarding the complaint form or the owners so I will not be returning unfortunately and I’m sad to say so.

This place is fantastic. The fish is fresh and delicious. The clam chowder is delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful with dietary restrictions.

I always love going to captains other restaurants. One of my favorite things is they have a menu for kids and light eaters. As someone always slightly embarrassed ordering from the kids menu I felt seen and included. The halibut is always my go to. So fresh so wonderfully hand battered.

Love this place. GF friendly claim chowder. Food is always great.

It was exactly what we were looking for as we searched for a seafood place. We sat, ordered, and devoured. 😊

Was seated immediately and able to order within 5 minutes and food was served in 10 minutes and was excellent!

Local place, a little off of 101. Not fine dining, but fine eating. Hostess gave us each a generous sample of their creamy clam chowder to close the deal! Two bowls of chowder and we split a fish dish. The Captain's Choice seemed to have a happy crew working there. We were very happy too.

The food was incredible. Love that all the locals come here. The staff was friendly and nice. Would recommend them to anyone one wanting good seafood and small town feel.

Captain’s choice was the fish and chips!! Crispy and crispy fries!! So delicious and it tasted just like I was craving, I recommend

We usually love the food here. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, sauce was super watery and had absolutely no flavor. My husband loved the bread bowl. Didn't eat my meal, and although the service was good, since I didn't want anything else, we paid the full price for the food that was not eaten, no offer to even discount it.
