This is just an old fashion dinner. Nothing fancy just decent food and good service at an affordable price. If you're trying to impress someone by wine and dining them pick somewhere else...lol. But on the other hand if a full belly with good eats and money left over in the wallet is your goal........GOOD CHOICE.

We come to Coos Bay in the morning on rare occasions. When we do, we eat at The Kozy for breakfast. We had the chicken fried steak which they split up for us. The meat was delicious and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Our waitress was seasoned like myself and made our visit even better. I have eaten here for 2 sets of meals, my husband has eaten there all 3 times of the day. It was the place to be after a hard shift on the ambulance. Bottom Line. We have always had 8 or 9 out of 10 meal here.

I don't know what happened to the quality of the food in this place but it has deteriorated significantly. The corned beef hash was completely dried out and tasteless The hash browns tasted like yesterday's stale oil and we're very greasy ....my friends omelette was runny and tasted like plastic cheese both plates of food were lukewarm...... All the way down to the lukewarm very weak coffee extremely disappointed
