Had the portobello sandwich, potato salad and pie. Everything on the menu sounded good. Sooo delicious! We are outside in the garden area. Beautiful!
This was so epic and delicious that I completely forgot to take photos! I got the fiesta burger on a gluten free bun. I’m pretty sure everything was homemade from the delicious walnut based patty to the whole grain GF bun to the sauce… and the ingredients were organic too! I got garlic roasted brussels for the side and a homemade crust mixed berry pie for dessert, it was all sooo delicious, and really reasonably priced. The burger was $8.50 or 11.50 with the GF bun, but it was such high quality for those prices! Also the environment was so cute, I did my journaling there and loved the vibes. A great place to get some work done over a delicious meal or pastry!
We've only been in a couple times but have loved everything they've had to offer! Very allergy friendly!!!
Delicious gyro and Brussels sprouts. Comfy atmosphere.
2 years ago I was in North Bend and stopped at this little cafe for lunch, ordered the Indian pasty. it was so very very good. I was able to return today and was so thrilled to get another Indian pasty. Still so good, definitely did not disappoint.
Anytime I'm in the area I stop at the Tin Thistle for lunch. Their burger is the best I've ever had. I also appreciate the homemade cookies and other desserts, as well as the friendly service. Love the outdoor garden seating also!
So friendly and welcoming!…the BEST burger I have found so far!…loved this place and will definitely be back!
The meal started off great with a small pasty with samosa filling dipped in a green chutney that warmed me up nicely. The teriyaki burger was sweet and tangy with excellent caramelization and the sweet potato fries had a nice starchy crunch. The BBQ burger was smoky and sweet and paired nicely with roasted brussel sprouts. The food was not overly salty or greasy which seems rare these days. The atmosphere had chill vibes and the staff was friendly and quick. Hands down one of the best vegan restaurants in Oregon, worth a trip!
I've been a fan of Tin Thistle for many years. Their food never disappoints me. Always delicious and fresh. And Paula is such a sweetheart! The dining room is large and accommodating with lovely artwork. The outdoor dining space is perfect on a sunny day.
If I had to have a critique, it is that the dining room can be quite cold during the cooler seasons. Though to be fair, those old buildings with mile-high ceilings are a pain to heat! I'll still put on a jacket and go though, for another bowl of her mac n cheese!

I appreciate that this restaurant is fully vegan. Friendly staff, fast and attentive service. Eclectic decor. Nice food presentation, emphasis on fresh ingredients. However, in my experience, the food was just okay. My meal seemed under seasoned, the pita bread was cold, and the side dish was quite oily.

Just great staff, food was out of this world, fully vegan
Vegetarian/vegan place along 101. How wonderful is that?
Such a friendly atmosphere, with all around welcoming staff. The salads and teriyaki burgers are delicious, plus there's a lot of beautiful art to gaze upon. definitely going back!
Although we had no food, the prices were a lot for the nice pastries. The coffee was rich and delicious, but a bit too thick for a breve. The servicers were very nice and prompt. The atmosphere delightful
