2 years ago I was in North Bend and stopped at this little cafe for lunch, ordered the Indian pasty. it was so very very good. I was able to return today and was so thrilled to get another Indian pasty. Still so good, definitely did not disappoint.
Anytime I'm in the area I stop at the Tin Thistle for lunch. Their burger is the best I've ever had. I also appreciate the homemade cookies and other desserts, as well as the friendly service. Love the outdoor garden seating also!
The meal started off great with a small pasty with samosa filling dipped in a green chutney that warmed me up nicely. The teriyaki burger was sweet and tangy with excellent caramelization and the sweet potato fries had a nice starchy crunch. The BBQ burger was smoky and sweet and paired nicely with roasted brussel sprouts. The food was not overly salty or greasy which seems rare these days.
