I believe this to Yeongs to have the best burgers in true entire uUSA. I love the specialty burgers. If you got the guts try the garbage burger. My favorit is the pastrami burger.

I had a pastrami burger. It was amazing, can't wait to go back and try a different burger. The fries were some of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Do yourself a favor and give them a try when your in town.

I stopped by Yeong’s Place in North Bend, Oregon — a small, casual spot known for burgers and diner-style food. I tried their Patty Melt and Giant Burger, and here’s the honest take: it’s a mixed bag.
The Patty Melt ($12) looked promising, fries included, but the patty was thin and the rye bread tasted like something from a grocery store. Flavor was okay (3.75/5), but value felt low (3/5). A thicker patty and better bread would make it much more satisfying.
The Giant Burger was massive. It’s filling and enjoyable, but the flavor reminded me a lot of Carl’s Jr.’s Famous Star — not bad, but not unique. Value-wise, it’s good (4.5/5) because of the portion.
Atmosphere is basic and a little shabby: worn tables, a few flies, and a street/gas station view. Takeout is probably the way to go. Service was friendly, but I waited around 25 minutes despite not many customers.
Bottom line: Yeong’s Place delivers quantity over wow factor. The Giant Burger fills you up, the Patty Melt disappoints, and overall, it’s a casual spot — not bad, but it doesn’t live up to any hype.

Pretty good burgers. Stopped in with my uncle on a summer Wednesday at lunch time. I got the trifecta burger with curly fries, he got the garlic with curly. Both came out hot and fresh in less than 10 minutes. Prices are pretty good and include a side. It was full when we got there, but they are quick. Good spot to check out if your in North Bend.

Always good burgers here! I love Yeongs place! My coworker always gets the Ortega Burger with the large Ortega pepper on it, and I love getting the Jalapeño Popper burger, it has just the right amount of the cream cheese filling combined with the jalapeño rings!
New Edit 6/27/2025:
Just went out recently and got the limited ed. coleslaw brisket burger, it was so good!! Give Yeongs a try! Their in store milkshakes are also amazing!
Burgers were big and tasty 😋! They have a perfect burger sauce and they toast the buns perfect so the burger stays together and don't fall apart while eating it. Big variety of milk shakes that were also made excellent 👌. Family owned and operated and you can tell they take pride in their business. Will definitely eat there again when I am down there.
Delicious hamburgers. Friendly fast service, COVID-19 protocols in use.
The owner cooks and is a stickler for food food and amazing menu. Best burger sandwiches in Coos Bay!

Delicious burgers and the fries were excellent. My only “beef” was that the bacon on the burger was too thick and a bit chewy. Other than that, the burger was great. The staff is super kind and efficient. I want to try their Fish and Chips so I may be back to upgrade to a 5. One suggestion I would have is on the peanut butter burger: there’s a rock themed burger place in California that is phenomenal (Grill Em’ All) and they have the Dee Snyder burger. The Dee Snyder has peanut butter, strawberry jam, and a little Sriracha. The taste combination sounds weird but it’s amazing. Level your peanut butter burger up ??
