Great people there! Owner is a super nice person!

To me this place is the epitome of The Rustic Oregonian Winery. That being said to me all the wines have a bit of a tannic taste to them and so they're not my favorite. But this is still an awesome place. I personally thought that the 14 tempranillo was the best.

From the moment you step into Spire Mountain Cellars, you're not just a guest, you're part of a story – a story woven with passion, expertise, and the most delightful Pinot Noir. The heart and soul of this winery is its owner and winemaker, Kevin. His warmth is infectious; he knows no strangers, only friends yet to be made. Each visit is a continuation of a conversation, as if you're picking up right where you left off. Kevin's talent in winemaking is only surpassed by his ability to remember details about his guests, making each experience deeply personal and memorable.Delving into the art of winemaking with Kevin is an experience in itself. His descriptions of the wines are not just informative but also a journey through the rich flavors and unique characteristics of each bottle. It's his passion that turns wine tasting here into an educational and enjoyable adventure. The venue itself is a rustic haven, seemingly plucked out of a Hallmark movie. It's cozy and authentic, with a charming vineyard cat, Stryker, who adds to the winery's character, making friends with guests as he roams the picturesque grounds.Among the array of wines, the Pinot Noir stands out – it's not just good, it's exceptional. While every harvest brings something special, there are a few that are truly remarkable, capturing the essence of the region and the expertise of the winemaker. In conclusion, Spire Mountain Cellars is more than just a winery; it's a place where wine, warmth, and wonderful memories blend seamlessly. Whether you're a wine aficionado or a casual taster, this hidden gem in the heart of wine country is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking great wine and even greater company.

Such a wonderful day! We had some delicious wine. Listened to good music. And had wonderful views.

The ambience was incredible! I took a panorama of the deck they had outside. I also met their super cute cat named Striker, who loves people and chin scratches :)I tried a few items on their cheese plate and it was okay, but nothing out of this world. The drive to get to Spire Mountain Cellars was a little intimidating, though. But it was definitely worth it.

Spire Mountain Cellars is a fabulous winery on the Umpqua Wine Trail. Please make the drive to this family-run winery in Oakland. Enjoy tastings of full ranges of Tempranillo and Pinot Noir or the tasty Pinot Gris or Riesling. They also offer a Sparkling Rosé which is always a favorite bubbly. Backside Brewery and nonalcoholic options also offered for those not there for the tastings. It's picturesque and welcoming and will sure become one of your favorite wineries.
