Stopped in on a whim. We shared a grilled blackened chicken strip basket with fries. The chicken had no business being that tasty! Perfectly cooked and SO much flavor. Our mozzarella sticks were a delicious appetizer. Overhead other patrons raving about their meals, we can't wait to stop in again and try some of their burgers or the tri-tip that was fresh off the smoker. The breeze off of the river was refreshing on a hot summer day.

Pretty sure last I was there the management change since. Just not what I was expecting at all really. Flies are still there. However if it is new management I'm hoping things continue to get better. Really is a great spot. Server was very observant. Cook/ owner? Eh.. however like I said I'd go back in hopes things are going better. Once more always was a memorable spot for decades for my family.

Would not take much to upgrade quality of food and menu needs more options like steaks, chicken, fresh salads. No processed frozen french fries or onion rings.

When we arrive there were only 2 other groups there. The gentleman that was working alone was pleasant in his greetings. When asked what we wanted to drink we asked if iced tea was an option he replied cheerfully that it was but he would need to brew some. Wr ordered an appetizer of fried pickles which were fabulous dare I say better than the restaurant with a scarlet bird for a mascot. The burgers arrived and were the best I have tasted in sometime. We left with full bellies and more food for later. Thank you for your great service and awesome food.
