The crab tacos were absolutely amazing! My wife had a really good bowl of clam chowder. We shared a blackberry shortcake for dessert. The food, service and atmosphere were awesome! Good prices and a nice view of the Pacific Ocean!

We ordered the bowl of clam chowder, crab grilled cheese with green salad and berry vinaigrette, and the open face crab and shrimp avocado melt with fries. The service was friendly and welcoming! Cute place for lunch although it was a little pricey. We enjoyed the chowder and the crab grilled cheese - it was crisp to perfection but could use a little more crab so it’s not overpowered by the cheese flavor. Spent around $75 with tip for 2 people!

I stopped here because I was on the west coast for a wedding. I live in the DC Metro area, and this was the first time I have ever been to Oregon. Knowing I would be within a couple hours of the coast I planned to visit the shoreline on my brief trip. During my Saturday morning in Oregon, I drove all the way out from Portland for breakfast and to see shoreline. The unique shoreline was awesome full of rocks a small cave etc...The Blue Agate's place right on the water was so awesome. The restaurant is small, but everyone was so kind, the service was great, and the food was insanely good! This trip was a nice break from the Washington DC area where life seems to be moving much faster. That morning, I had the country fried steak/eggs with potatoes. I also picked the homemade biscuit instead of toast and I 100% would do it again. The pricing was fair and compared to where I live, very cheap and inexpensive. I am not sure I will ever be in Oceanside again in my life or if I will ever have the chance to eat at this awesome place again, but if I ever am, there is no doubt I will drive 100 miles out of my way to eat breakfast here again. I would love to see what it looks like on a sunny clear day! Thank you for your top notch customer service and expert advise on what to order! You guys are awesome; I am so glad I got to experience this place, a place I would've never known existed had I not been in Oregon/Washington for a wedding.

Huge sign that says dogs welcome. We walked in and asked for seating with our two well behaved dogs. The inside was empty of clients. The lady looked at us and grabbed 2 menus and walked out back. We followed her, she put down the menus on the table and then turned around, looking annoyed, and said she was full. I saw no one walking toward the table or waiting. I asked if we could sit inside with the dogs. She said no and just stared like we were bothering her. Husband and I left and went to the restaurant Current Café-- they had outdoor seating and were very welcoming.
Went here on a trip with a friend. Delicious start to the day! Homy atmosphere & friendly service.

This little whole in the wall place was a spectacular find. I don’t even like clam chowder but I loved the taste of it here. The fish taco was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Been visiting Oregon (mostly Portland area) for over a week now and this is the best of any place I’ve been.
