If you're looking for the best coastal spot for a wonderful and absolutely delicious meal. Look no further than the Blue Agate Cafe?? We were greeted with a cheerful hello and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The menu choices were top notch, as was the food itself (I had a Coastal salad with made from scratch blue cheese, and everything was made not only deliciously but beautifully ? The fish in chips were the best I've had along the whole Oregon Coast (so much so we got another order to go, for later lol) Thank you for such a great experience and such a terrific waitress (I could kick myself for not remembering her name ?) She was young, blonde and extremely cheerful?. We initially were at Roseanna's Cafe, but ended up leaving because no one greeted us when we arrived, their menu was very minimal and we were just a bit put off about it. We were just so happy to find this gem of Oceanside. Thank you again! We will definitely be back??

We visited this little restaurant recently when we were in town and were very disappointed. The inside does not feel very clean, from our seats the kitchen was visible and it did not look very clean either. We were willing to stay because the reviews were so good, but the food was underwhelming and took a very long time to get to us.
Kid-friendliness: Visited with our kids and there were limited high chairs. I had to eat most of the meal with my one year old on my lap.

Totally blown away this morning! Ordered a maple bar donut and it showed up at the table freshly fried and glazed! This place is excellent.
Visiting for vacay from TX. Everything we ordered was great. Place looks small but plenty of seating inside and outdoors. Wife had the pulled pork tacos, I had the Agate Fries with pork and cheese and our son had the grilled chkn sw with bacon and it was great!

We loved our experience here! Pet friendly patio. Some of the best Chowder I've ever had. Juicy burger with grilled bun and fresh vegetables, crispy fries, delicious crab melt with a fresh green salad and home made blue cheese. Fresh lemonade and we absolutely loved Kathy our server. All of the employees were so nice and welcoming. Our absolute must go to place when we are in the area.
