Absolutely delicious food and cooked to perfection! I tried the classic breakfast burrito and my husband had the eggs/hashbrown/bacon meal. Both dishes were scrumptious! Good service and a comfortable dining area.

I would have liked to have tried the food, but apparently the owner is trying to redefine the meaning of ‘open’. Listed hours in Google (not always trustworthy) and on the counter are 8am - 3pm. But in small print on the counter sign it says the kitchen closes at 2pm.
Why? Is the owner betting the hungry traveler will resign themselves to grabbing a coffee and pastry instead of something more substantial?
Maybe you should list your hours as 8am to 2pm? For those travelers who get suckered by this false advertising, the Upstairs a few miles back up the road post real hours and in fact has perfectly edible bar food available at 2:30pm.

I needed a place to charge my camera and eat, and I saw Current Cafe on the map. The cafe has such a nice vibe and the staff is very nice. I got a Chai latte with soy milk and a vegan breakfast burrito. Both were very good! It isn’t easy to make a good vegan burrito, and I feel like they executed it very nicely. I liked their chai tea latte because it wasn’t insanely sweet, as many are. Anyway, I would totally recommend this place as a stop wherever you are going!

My wife and I needed a quick get away lunch after a long 2 weeks and came up here from Neskowin. We wanted to try a different place, but it was closed. Luckily this was right down the street and it didn’t disappoint. This place was great and we will be back soon. Everything about it was great and I look forward to trying something else on the menu.

We grabbed a late lunch while out touring Oceanside. You order at counter and they bring you food when done. We had great food - tacos, breakfast burrito, and teriyaki bowl. Atmosphere is nice - surf shop vibe.

Stopped in here at random during a road trip, and are so glad we did—great food (veggie breakfast burritos for us), very friendly service, and a warm atmosphere featuring both locals and visitors like us. Oh, and free wi-fi to boot. Though we found it by chance, we'd go out of our way to hit it again on future road trips.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good the fish and chips were. Would return.

Loved having breakfast here so much we came twice on our weekend stay in Oceanside! The place had nice vibes and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwhich, breakfast burrito, and yogurt bowl.

Big bravo to the barista inside, they ran out after a man who had just yelled at a little girl about her dog, who was calmly waiting for her dad outside. The man made her cry. Completely out of line. The barista stepped in, made him apologize to her, and handled it with total class. It was awesome…a real reminder that good people do still exist.
Also? The fish tacos were incredible. And of course, the service matched, genuine, kind, and on point.
