These folks are fantastic! Tasty bites, yummy coffee, and great customer service. My first time in happened to be my birthday and they gave me a birthday latte! I hear they have the best chowder on the coast, so am eager to come back for that. Great views of the ocean too!

Current Cafe catered an event for my family in September. The sandwiches and chowder were delicious. All the details of coordination from dining setup, menu and cleanup were excellent and truly showed that a small community like Oceanside has an outstanding cafe that is to be proud of. My first thought was, is this a surf shop, gift shop, coffee house, or a place to eat. Yes to all! Very friendly, laid back, and the atmosphere fits the location. Had a bowl of clam chowder and a side of fries to dip in it. Excellent chowder!!

Such a great spot, everyone who works there is so friendly and chill, and the food is killer. My friends and I come specifically for the clam chowder. It's the best I have ever had, if I could buy a vat of it to take home I would.

Had a late lunch, delightful! My oldest relatives ate here in August and said the same thing. Excellent food and friendly staff. Much better hours than the other two restaurants. Higher quality food and better service than the dinner restaurant across the street plus outdoor seating. The whole surf store with rentals lessons is brilliant and a lot of fun to be around. Fun interesting folks come here. Yay!

I can't believe it was my first time here. The vegan breakfast burrito is soooooo good. It's technically not listed on the menu (the veggie one is). Just tell them vegan breakfast burrito and then you are good to go. It has perfectly cooked pillowy tofu and hummus in it along with hasbrowns, pico, and avocado. I Will 100% be going back. Breakfast options around here are slim to none so this is really exciting to have this not crazy far from my house. And with the beach right there, it's a perfect spot! We took it all to go and ate at a picnic table across the street.
I just found out they will be closing in two weeks. I'm so freaking bummed. This is worth a stop to get before they close!!!!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee. Very friendly daycare. Burritos were delicious. Hubby splurged for the mimosa and I got a vanilla latte. Would definitely recommend. Great views of the ocean.

Only advantage to this cafe and "lounge" is the location. If you don't tip for fast food you don't need to tip here. We had to order at the counter then pick up our food and drinks from a cooler, then BUS OUR OWN table. Dirty table at that. My fish and chips were burnt fish and cold tater tots. Tater tots? 2 orders for $76! Wish I had taken picture for a visual. I'll be back to Oceanside for sure....won't return here ever.
