The clam chowder was terrible. I've had better. THE Ciopino was too spicy and so hot ii couldn't enjoy it. And no french fries with the hamburger sandwich? Just potatoes chips! We'll never goback again

I has been curious about this place as we’ve walked by it on numerous occasions. It was getting close to closing time so I ordered a bowl of chowder to go. I will say this, I’ve never had a spoonful of food from a place then chucked the whole thing in the garbage, ever. All we could taste was pickle in the clam chowder. I don’t hate pickles but I did order clam chowder not pickles. Maybe the dill seasoning was just heavy tasting because it had settled where they scooped it out or maybe it was just an “off” day because I feel establishments/people are not always going to be perfect every single day. I want to try them one more time, go earlier & order something different.

Amazing food! Our server, Kevah (unsure about spelling), was so helpful and gave us recommendations of what we should check out. You should definitely come check it out. The special was halibut cheeks and it was delicious.

Salmon and halibut were really tasty. Server was great, parking is an obstacle. Great view and a cozy atmosphere.
Nice ocean view lunch. Food was good.
Roseanne’s Café in Oceanside is a cozy, no-frills spot that serves up solid, home-style food. The vibe is small-town friendly, and the staff fits the tone, welcoming, easygoing, and helpful without hovering. It’s the kind of place that feels like part of the neighborhood, and it’s clear a lot of locals appreciate it.
I had the scallops, which were good, but not something I’d go out of my way for. Honestly, they turned out about how they would if I made them at home. We also shared a cheese and olive board, which was more of a highlight, especially the Tillamook cheese curds, which are always a hit. My wife tried the clam chowder, and while it was fine, I’d steer folks toward Werner Beef and Brew if they’re looking for a standout bowl.
Desserts looked tempting, but we were too full to try them. Overall, Roseanne’s is a decent option if you’re staying nearby and want something convenient and familiar. I wouldn’t call it a destination meal, though. Next time, I’d probably make the short drive into Tillamook for more variety.
We will be back! The toll house pie was a 10 out of 10! The burger was juicy and delicious 😋 the service was top notch. The food was exceptional and a new fave of mine.
We have been coming to this place for close to 20 years. It is a quaint and great place for food and atmosfear, but on the pricey side. Well, on the 12 of June my husband and I went to lunch and enjoyed it, but the shock was the price of a glass of wine. That was a joke.
The lunch was $ 110 with tip, the wine glass was 3/4 EMPTY! Not 1/4 fulI. I was confused and did not know if i should say anything, but regular glass of wine was $13 and on the bottom of the glass🤣🤣🤣. It was barely visible and down there at the bottom.
If i go there again, it will be water and maybe share an entreè. Cup of chowder was $8
Must be the tarriffs

My new spot for chowder and crab cakes.
We enjoyed every part of our meal. Started with the bacon-skewer scallops… very good. Then side salads with homemade poppyseed dressing… light and refreshing. We shared the crab cake meal and panko crusted halibut with lemon butter. I favored the halibut and my husband favored the crab cakes. Then dessert… OMG! The chocolate cake with caramel and toffee bits… OUT OF THIS WORLD! The atmosphere is what you would expect from a vintage space that it is. We enjoyed the views to the ocean. You really couldn’t ask for more.
The view of the water from the tables is gorgeous and the food is delicious! I had crab cakes and the chocolate and peanut butter pie.

$14 for a flavorless sandwich on crumbling bread. Service slow and lackadaisical.

We have been coming here for over 4 yrs! Today there was an extremely rude young lady to the other employees. She was honestly super cringey. She belittled another employee and I quote “my mom signs your checks”. It made us super uncomfortable and this girl needs a huge reality check… hopefully signed by her mom…. Hopefully she will realize not to belittle the ppl that help her family business run. I feel sorry for the young man and I hope he moves on and finds another environment to work.
