This place is empty and shuttered on Jan 5th, 2025. Too bad.

My husband and I chose this place, because of the seafood dishes they had on the menu. We ordered a fish cerviche to share , so we wouldn’t fill up before our entire, for we had each chosen a shrimp dish. Shortly after receiving our very good margaritas we were informed that it would take an hour to fix the cerviche , We said sadly ok we’ll just wait for our entree. Shortly after we received a phone call from our daughter and couldn’t stay to eat, so we asked to change it to take out. 15 minutes later we were then informed that they were out of shrimp. Meanwhile more people arrived I wonder what the true reason was? I can speculate, but what place does that on a Saturday night at 6pm, not professional and we will never go back. They can not be depended upon

Used to be a regular 9 years ago. The place hasn’t changed in that time. Large seating area, stellar customer service and free chips and a buffet selection of salsa. I got a burrito as a salad to lighten the carb load. I think it’s best to keep things as they are. :) The highlight was the chipotle creama salsa. Burritos were okay. But supporting the local, independent spot is on spot.

I have to say that the salsa flavors are better than the food! Meals are really good and you pay the price. Always busy and the staff works hard.
It's always a good.

My lady showed me this place tonight for dinner and I honestly did not know to expect something so excellent.

It's clearly a family-run establishment and the family not only cares deeply about creating a wonderful meal for you, but they make everything from scratch in-house - and everything is absolutely *delicious*.

They make a series of quite varied salsas and sauces to enjoy and we were able to taste many of them with our meal tonight. Everything from pickled habaneros to chipotle crema to various unique sauces with great depth of flavor as well as very fresh ingredients.

The chef-owner came out to take our dinner orders and suggested the soup with them. We didn't even ask beyond that and excitedly accepted, which later brought us the best version of chile con queso I've ever tasted. I told my girlfriend, this is comfort food-good. The kind of soup that will make you feel all better on a cold night or even if you aren't feeling well and need something to warm you up inside.

We each ordered a variety of items from the menu via pick-your-own combo platters, and the chili Colorado with pork was straight up unbelievable. Again, their sauces/salsas are so delicious and lovingly made each day. As we were leaving and saying our thank-yous while passing the kitchen, the chef even showed us his rondo pan loaded with more of that deep red marinated pork ready to cook off, letting us know that he always makes things in small batches so they're just right.

I can go on about our experience, but I'll end my review by simply saying that this place is special. They make food exactly as though it will be served to guests in their home, and that's how lovely our meal was tonight. We can't wait to make another trip here again.

The best authentic Mexican food I've ever found! So full of flavor, every bite better than the last. They don't skip out on quality, or the details. I've gone here for years and will never stop telling the world how good their food is. Also, lots to choose from on the menu. The staff is always friendly.

Had a quick lunch there today with my son. My chicken burrito was cold, like the meat had been taken out of the fridge and not completely warmed through. And the tortilla was stale. It definitely wasn't fresh at all. My son enjoyed his tacos and sauce sampler. Won't be back. Also, everything we had was super salty.

The food is very basic. If you want flavor, you need to ask. They are very accommodating but it's just a tortilla rolled up nothing on it no side sour cream ect...

I like food, almost everything. It simply should be well prepared. This is not texmex, rather more of what I think traditional Mexican inspired food can be (like a day in Mexico City). It's interesting, inspired, and I think delicious. I enjoyed the house margaritas as well. Say hello to Pepè too!
