Terrible sandwich. Was burnt and flavorless, was also told they don't have the full size bun so I got a smaller sandwich for the same price

A hidden gem frequented by locals with a great breakfast, prime rib on Fri-Sat, and nice vibes. We had the Country Benedict, the Chicken Fried Steak, and the blueberry pancake. Everything was freshly made, served hot, cooked perfectly to meet our requests, and delicious. Reasonably priced and served with a welcoming smile. Coffee and water were always full. We will be back!

A man followed me in to the restroom and when I started yelling at him my husband whi was in the mens room next door came in and he started swinging on both of us. The bartender tried to prevent us from calling the cops and let the man, who she knew, slip out the back door before the cops got there. Their was no previous interaction with this man and I'm not sure what set him off but this is not a safe place, especially for women.

Excellent service, couldn't ask for more-just the right amount of check-ins.
Food tasted like it was from scratch. CFS was prepped to order.

I ordered two items, both of them were nothing that resembled a salt lick. Where is the south American flavors. My husband and I took a couple of bites and trew it away.
Wheelchair accessibility: My husband and I use walkers. Hard place to get into. The bartender was really a good guy and went out of his way to help me. He helped with doors and was very polite. I live in the neighborhood and love to see our community grow. Concentrate on south American flavors, not heavy heavy salt. Pollo, wow, what a waste of money, bartender grea and accommodating

Howell is thee place to go for fantastic breakfast, no fuss meals of all sorts and old school Oregon City atmosphere. You can't go wrong with Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast for dinner? Can do! Great photos on the wall show old Howells and the sandwich cafe use to be.
Kid-friendliness: Cute restaurant, bar-ish area in the back
Wheelchair accessibility: One floor, flat surface

The bartender is also the cook. The lady is very rude, I mistook it for a place to eat breakfast, it’s just a place that makes toast to get away with serving liquor I think…. Rude service

Went for breakfast on January 17. Bland potatoes and onions. Sausage link tasted funky. Coffee was ok but I wasn't overly pleased. Egg and bacon were good. Service was friendly but had to refill my own coffee. No table touch, didn't ask if we wanted anything, didn't ask if we liked the food or anything. Very laid back. Probably to laid back. I mean deliver the food, five minutes later check back and see if the customer is happy with the food. You know what I mean. Can't find great service anymore. Just adequate service. Might go back sometime but not on a regular basis

The pancakes were good, the coffee (black) was great, and the eggs were decent. However, the French toast tasted more like an extra side of eggs than actual French toast. The lady taking my order did her job well, though she seemed to be hiding and couldn’t manage a smile to save her life. Still, I left a tip. Overall, I enjoyed the environment and the meal.
