It’s Christmas Day. We ordered takeout and one of our meals was chicken strips and fries. The chicken strips are flat and almost burnt. Usually we get good food.

Went here with my high school friends (all 28) and the manager broke one of their IDs while “testing” it. Broke it in two while bending it. Afterwards, had no remorse, and told my friend it was his fault and he should have gotten a newer ID (he got it four years ago). Another bartender even said, “you snapped another one?”. I respect that they’re trying to do their job, but the lack of remorse (or desired to remediate) is insane

This place is AWFUL!!! Came Here from out of town to play poker and literally couldn’t get a drink to save my life. My child had to literally get up and wait on the table because the bartender and server refused to come over here even when asked. I have NEVER tipped zero dollars but I did tonight with a nice note at the top I can’t say the service was bad because I never got any.

The staff are horrible on refilling drinks. Ask the waitress 4 times and still waiting over a hour. Asked bartender and he said I will be right back and never came back.

Glad to see some improvements coming to Midway after years of disappointment. Was excited to see a new cocktail menu, with some delish drinks that our group enjoyed. We also had some great soup, that was posted! We will be back for sure.

I was thrilled when I discovered this incredible pool hall on the Sunday before our event. The expansive bar is perfectly designed for events, with various sections that promote a lively atmosphere while maintaining a clean and organized environment despite the crowds. Bryce, the bartender, was a true professional – managing the entire bar with ease while exuding friendliness with great service. He took the time to explain the layout, weekly events, and made us feel welcome, setting a positive tone for our upcoming event.

However, our experience on the day of the event in the back section was a letdown. There was a different bartender behind the bar (we were expecting Bryce, because he said he was supposed to be working), he was nice, but the service from the two servers assigned to our party was lacking. The redhead in her late 30s (I didn't catch her name) seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed as if still in training and not equipped to handle an event of this size.

Despite the issues, the bar's potential remains huge for pool enthusiasts and great local bar. We didn't sample the food, but it looked and sounded delicious based on feedback. With refined service, this could be the perfect spot. For now, it's a great option with minor flaws.
