The food here is honestly great — no complaints at all about the quality. That’s the only reason this isn’t an even harsher review.
Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. One of the employees (heavier-set, unshaven gentleman) was noticeably rude and seemed irritated to even be helping customers. The attitude alone was enough to make the experience uncomfortable.
On the flip side, there’s a younger, smaller-framed guy working there who is doing an excellent job — polite, attentive, and professional. Huge difference in customer service between the two.
Management really needs to address this. If you’re having trouble finding staff, I understand it’s tough right now — but allowing someone with that kind of attitude to represent your business hurts the overall experience. Great food can only carry a place so far.

I usually really like Mod pizza, but I really struggled to even eat my food after watching the big guy with the ponytail handle cash/cash register, wipe his nose multiple times and then also be the person who handles and boxes your food without washing his hands once after doing all of the mentioned above.

Not my favorite location. I’ve had some staff be helpful and great, but some not so much. But online ordering has usually been awful. Would order ahead before my lunch break, and got there, waited a whole HOUR which was the duration of lunch for it. They hadn’t even started it, they weren’t busy at all. My partner and I had ordered 20 minutes before we even were headed there as well. They’ve either forgotten our pizza entirely, burnt it or left things off. Overall just not a great experience. The Mod in oak grove is great though!
