I’d have given a 5 star if not for the cute little waitress that greeted us. She was really nice and I had walked in behind my husband and she had already asked for his id and then told me I was fine. I still got my id out on my phone because that is where my id is. So for those who don’t know there are 2 states that I know of that have electronic identification like in my myColorado™ app. They ARE A LEGAL ID! For someone who wasn’t even going to look at my ID to feeling like she was going to kick me out of the restaurant because she didn’t believe it was a real ID. All this would have been completely understandable if she hadn’t already said I didn’t need to show my id.

Food is good. There seemed to only be one server (he was great) but overwhelmed. Waited over 30 minutes to get in and seated. I've heard great things about the bloody mary's here, but I've been here a few times, and I am not a fan. Like at all.

Update: it's hit and miss now. Food is pretty consistent and good. It's expensive for a diner. The service quality is according to who is working at the time.Ranee's has changed since we first started going, more space, great balance of dive bar, no minors, great food, good craft beer selection, date night priced, diner restaurant tavern? Everywhere I've lived, there always has to be that place to go, not to barfly level, but somewhere to be recognized...and this is the place. :) Nothing fancy, but sweats or dress, it works.. There is shuffleboard, too. Inflation has hit everywhere. Ranee's included... portions on small bites, that I can eat, have gotten smaller, nooooooo....I'm such a small eater already. Also, the craft beer selection has slimmed, but I think that may be a supply issue, or someone is not ordering enough. We do not patronize as often. ?

OMG! This place is to die for, highly recommend... The place is fun and quirky with a 10' rabbit skeleton watching you, not some be fooled because the food will make you forget all about that. The waitress suggested the chicken sandwich, (all handmade with cheddar biscuits and chorizo gravy) and it did not disappoint! I didn't need any extra seasoning, and I'm a hot sauce guy at heart. GO THERE, JUST GO!

I've been into Ranee's 4 times for a mix of breakfast and lunch and I've never understood the 4 and 5 star reviews. It's definitely average bar food. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. But if I wanted that. There's better not far away. It's a nice comfortable dive kind of place. Solidly average.

In town for a couple of days and this place was recommended. It is a Saturday morning so we had a 20 minute wait for a table. Well I was very happy with the food and the service. The meals came out hot and fast. The Ruben was delicious and wouldn't change anything. Highly recommend this place and will definitely stop in here when we're back.Parking: We only had to park about 30 feet from the entrance right on the street
