We've always loved our meals here. But the Father's Day Buffet was so incredibly disappointing. The food was flavorless, even the ham needed salt 😩 Service was wonderful though, always so kind.
Had not been here in a few years they added better chairs and the service still good. Halibut fish and chips expensive and over cooked. cod fish and chips were 10 dollars less and better. Chicken parm outstanding and the bacon wrapped scallops get a B-. Crab dip was good. A good off the radar place. will visit again.
The food was bland. Coleslaw was gross. Possible frozen as it was not crisp or colorful. Mushy. Burger was small for the price, and dry as a bone. Fish was small, mostly batter. Soups were great. Cider was flat.
Amazing food with a beautiful view!
I sat at the bar multiple nights. The bartenders didn't really like to talk but they were friendly and the drinks were good.
Lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the river. Food was delicious and our server was attentive
Food was great. Waitress could've been a bit more attentive.
Dinner was........okay.... If you're 50 years old with no pallet.. 🤣 the Mother's Day special Menu was VERY sweet boat for the $30-$50/plate they were charging.... (Fried beer batter chicken being the cheapest of course.) My daughter took her drink home with her and when she opened the cup to drink the last of her sprite, she found a necklace BEAD in her drink that had fallen off our waitresses clothing apparently... My sons ribeye had more fat than meat on it too. Definitely wouldn't come here again. Only gave the stars I did because the waitress was nice and they got us in within 10 minutes of showing up after our reservation didn't show up on their app. I wish there was a place for me upload a picture of he bead. We spent $257 with a $43 tip making it $300 flat there, including tip..... NOT WORTH IT .......
About my experience really bad customer service our waiter was impolitely with us. First time here and the last
We made reservations through open table which went well, however we were not notified that there was a special menu for Mother's Day. The specialty menu was expensive and limited. It was disappointing because mom loves their fish and chips and was not able to get that. My sister ordered the halibut which was way overcooked. They were gracious and did not charge us for that meal.
Restaurantji Recommends
Douglas, our server, was an absolute delight. Very helpful and kind. The food we had was delicious and fresh. It was a beautiful afternoon to have lunch on the river. Would recommend for sure!
Eggs Benedict was perfectly prepared. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the service was friendly and professional
This place was great for Happy Hour! We sat in the bar which was OK. Upon leaving I saw the restaurant and will sit there next time for the view!! The service was spectacular!! Waitress/Bartender came to our table probably every 15 minutes to check on us,,, and it was about half full. Food was GREAT! Had the Happy Hour Burger (1/4#) because the regular burger (1/2#) felt like too much. Had several appetizers which were yummy. 100% will be going back soon.
Went with my family for Easter brunch. I understand having a limited menu. My bacon omelet had virtually no cheese, just paper thin egg & a lot of salty, smoky bacon bits. I got the potatoes with no Peppers or onions, and it seems like they must have just picked them out of my order because they all smelled like it's still. I didn't risk tasting them due to the smell of grilled peppers. My son & sister's English muffins were still soft and barely toasted at all. A bit disappointing when you're trying to spend a nice holiday splurge with family and spend over $20 for a plate of food & $12 for a mimosa. Mimosa was fine. Hard to mess that up.
Our server, Rizzo, was fantasic! My parents were celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary and she made them fell so special. The pulled pork sandwich was great and my parents split the big burger and there was enough for both of them - and they had leftovers. It was a perfect day to eat on the patio.
