We ate here as we were staying at the hotel, and it seemed like a good idea. Wrong! Should have had an inkling when the staff said “Oh we're not very busy tonite”. My wife ordered the blackened crab cakes with a baked potato, and I ordered the blackened steak and blue cheese salad. The crab cakes were bland, and the chipotle sauce was weird! The steak salad was amazing NOT! It should have been renamed Rocket Salad. It literally consisted of a bag of rocket salad, a few grape tomatoes and the steak. Not what a salad is. It seemed like our server was the only person doing any work, but there seemed to be plenty of staff, so there was no interaction apart from taking the order. All in all, considering it cost $90 plus tip, we could have gone to McMenamins and had better. Will not go there again and would not recommend it
The view is always perfect from the patio! Service was slow today we were not in a hurry but it was it's normal. Had the crab open face sandwich hit a large crab shell no fun.
Food & service were good...drinks were excessively expensive..a double whiskey was $20.. will not go back for that reason..
We went for Father’s Day lunch, not knowing they would have a limited menu: they had some omelets you could order or get their buffet. For $35/person the breakfast/brunch buffet was very underwhelming.
It was like a 3 star hotel breakfast buffet cooked in mass with french toast, biscuits + gravy, eggs, potatoes, English bacon and American bacon. Which sounds great but it was like Holiday Inn hotel breakfast quality. The buffet was set up in their bar and it was dimly lit. They could’ve turned on the lights in there just for brunch. We were expecting Applebees quality of food at minimum, not complimentary hotel breakfast quality.
It was our first time there and we’ve heard great things, so we will certainly come back again one day for lunch or dinner, but definitely not a holiday brunch/lunch time.
Great view of the river and the servers were kind. I heard two other customers comment about the buffet and they handled these comments very graciously.

Four of us had lunch on 8/25. The 2 Bacon-Turkey sandwiches were good, the BBQ sauce for the ribs was good, but the BBQ Ribs were not prepared well at all. The meat was dry and VERY tough. I had a hard time even biting through it to get a piece. My wife had a nice looking salad, which tasted okay, but within 4 hours she had food poisoning. She was seriously down for the next day and is still recovering 3 days later. We had no other food that day - the Breakfast Voucher from the connected BW hotel was a ridiculous offer. ($7 off a $20 breakfast...)

My parmesan chicken looked like it was microwaved and they through some sauce on. Waitress looked like she was working hard but service was slow and she didn't check on us after the food was served. Last time we were there same story. Used to go here once or twice a month and thought it was pretty good. Won't come back!

Review is from a hotel guest for Breakfast service.
Service was amazing. Hot coffee on the table before I even settled in my seat, and it was refilled quickly. Food was so-so. Potatoes were under cooked, egg jokes were not warm and gravy had no flavor. I had to salt and ketchup it up to taste anything.
If you stay at the hotel you get a $7 voucher. It dropped the price down to $13 for my food and coffee. With that being said, tomorrow ill skip my voucher and run across the street in McDucks.service was great, but food was lacking.

Food was good. Biscuits and gravy were cold. My french toast look like it was cooked with hamburger patties. Waitress was not clear on prices and seemed inpatient to answer questions. An older couple in there 80's ordered there food and a salad. They ask the price and wasn't given the correct price and the waitress seemed argument live towards them and was not helpful. She wasn't smiling and happy interacting woth my table and the 2 other tables

I arranged a group dinner here. I had the halibut fish & chips. They tasted like they sat around awhile and were reheated. My friends weren't happy with their meals either. It took an hour to get our meals. Dirty dishes weren't removed from the table. Soda was refilled quickly and service was friendly. That was the only good part. We won't be back.

I grew up in the area but have lived afar in the desert for 18 years, so I crave water views and such when possible. My elderly (quite feeble) parents and brother wanted to celebrate a productive two week visit of mine with a nice, upscale, but not froo-froo dinner with a special-occasion atmosphere. This ended up being perfect! Great service, food, and atmosphere (we just beat the Sunday dinner rush which packed the place, but was nice for us to avoid so we could hear each other). The ramp outside made access easy for my walker-using parents, and the railings on the 3-4 steps down to our window seats were doable since it wasn't any more steps than that (they did have tables available without need to go down stairs, but those weren't as close to the windows and views we were craving). Although the trees on the riverbank have grown over the years, and the extra distance to the river caused by the road along the riverbank has always existed, both obscuring the views perhaps 30%, otherwise the views of the river, boat traffic, and wooded hills across the river are all great. As for food, we focused on seafood and especially salmon, and it was outstanding! Finally, our server was very sweet and spoke clearly so my folks could hear and communicate with her. We will be back someday!!!
