The servers were great. So kind. But this place is dirty. From the minute I walked in, I saw dirt in the corners of the entry. Not just dust --dirt, crumbs. yuck.
The booths are coming apart. The bathrooms are worse than a gas station. Everything is broken. But at least there is hand soap. They were out of ic a cream...very wierd. Shari's parent company -- what are you doing?! Either fix them or let them go. This is a disgrace. I felt sorry for the staff. Unfortunately, nice as they were, I just don't do dirty. Can't go back.

Staff was friendly but there was only a single wait person for the whole store. Was not her fault but, service was poor. Air conditioning was not working well. Bathroom was dirty. Wait person had to hunt for clean silverware.

The food and service were great. Was upset to hear that the waitress was going to have to do the grounds keeping on her own time and with her own money as Shari's corporation would not pay anyone or even reimburse for gas for someone to do it. The grass and bushes around the restraunt were extremely overgrown !

The place is a dump, inside and out. It's obvious that the people have given up and don't care. Food is mediocre at best and takes way too long to get served. I will never eat there again.

A friend and I had decided to meet up at Shari's (Oregon City Shopping Center) for lunch. I looked at their menu on line, and because of the low variety in options (zero healthy either), I almost contacted my friend to figure out some place else to meet. I decided not to complicate things and forged ahead. When I arrived, I was shocked at how the restaurant looked from the outside. The restaurant features dusty, dry, unmowed, weed infested landscaping. They seemed not to be irrigating their plantings at all. It looked so bad, I assumed at that the restaurant had gone out of business.
But through the dirty windows, I saw some lights on, so I approached the door. In the glass of the door, I read a hand written sign that said something like, "Sorry! Our air conditioner is broken!" I went in to see how sweltering it was. We've had a few days of 100° weather this week. Yeah; it was an oven! The waitress at the cash register was mopping her brow, and she said that they were probably closing early and she didn't see why they had opened in the first place. Me either. I can't imagine what it must have been like back in the kitchen! I was very appreciative that the waitress brainstormed other restaurants close by that had both good food AND air conditioning. My friend and I ended up at McMenamins.

It's a typical Shari's. It's great as long as you go in with those expectations.

The food was as good as any other Sheri’s, but the restaurant itself was barely holding itself together. Only one of the bathroom stalls out of two were functional, with no soap dispenser besides a ketchup bottle full of soap and a stack of paper towels. There was no AC on a 100 degree day, it was understaffed, and a lot of the food on the menu wasn’t available. If it weren’t for the friendly staff, I likely would’ve left a worse review because the building doesn’t get enough love. The staff was clearly trying to make the best out of what they had with the little help they could get. However, we were served quickly since the place was practically empty, so that’s a plus. Good luck to the lovely staff!

The poor server was slammed, they were out of a bunch of items so that made ordering tough.
