Delicious food and great service! Maybe a touch loud for our tastes, but not uncomfortable.

A fantastic experience! Beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean, delicious food, and great service. We were very inpressed!

Food was decent but overpriced. Lovely setting but several guests with dogs. Waitress had very limited knowledge of the menu or wines and service was slow.

Food a little overpriced, but was still very good. The view was great and so was the service. Only downside was a little overpriced for the portions.

What an incredible meal! We started with the steamer clams which were outstanding and then had the halibut and the scallops. The flavors were off the charts good! Every item on the plate was carefully prepared and excellently executed. I love food chemistry when combining flavors and textures and your chef hit it out of the park. We went back the next night to have a repeat experience! It did not disappoint!

Visited based upon a recommendation from a friend. There is a TON of potential, and will probably try again. Service was painfully slow (35 minutes for drink/bread/67 minutes for entrees) and they didn't really seem to care. There were 2 other servers that we saw interactive, moving and taking care of people, but the check in counter and server were not what you'd expect. Food: Bread was phenomenal, wagyu burger was fantastic, the Halibut.... it was tasty, but very boring. Sitting atop a mound of mashed potatoes and puree, could have used some color and maybe even a tiny side..., asparagus, tomato, pepper, something. It was tasty, but for $52, there should have been a little more love.

Meridian's biggest problem is that it falls squarely in the mediocre category. We had an expensive and very average experience. Everything from our server to the food to the entertainment was unremarkable. This restaurant would not do well if there was any real competition. But given the lack of good restaurants in the area, it seemingly has no reason to try to improve.

The amazing views from the restaurant of the beach and ocean will give you something to look at when your waiting 45 minutes for your mimosas with an empty restaurant at 11 am and another 45 minutes for your outstanding crab cakes and clams.

5 of us came in for Bachelorette Brunch last Sunday and had Mary as our waitress. She was INCREDIBLE! Truly so fun, kind, helpful, and celebrated our bride to be perfectly! We came from Texas and Colorado, so it was such a treat when Mary excitedly helped us move from our inside table to a table on the patio with the best view of the beach and the sunny 60's on our skin! Thank you, Mary, for allowing us to be our crazy selves! Can't wait to come back one day <3

What a great experience. Our Waiter, Sean, has mastered his craft! He was engaging and but did not push himself on us. Sean’s entree and beverage recommendations were outstanding. I have eaten at most fine restaurants throughout the lower forty-eight States and I can say, Sean made our meal an outstanding experience! Many thanks Sean…your MI connection (it is a small world).

We were vacationing here in Pacific City and had dinner at the Meridian. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in our meals. I had the halibut which was very dry and overly salted. Our friends had the rib eye which was extremely fatty and the risotto was undercooked.
The scallops were very good!
I don't think our server was having a good night.
Overall, we were very disappointed.

We stayed at the Headlands hotel for our engagement trip and were very disappointed with both the restaurant and hotel experience. Dinner at the restaurant was flavorless and undercooked, and we had to return our dish. Service was poor — waiters spent more time chatting with another table about personal matters than attending to us, so we ended up having to get up ourselves to grab boxes and ask for a check.

We initially overlooked the fact that our hotel sheets were dirty and full of sand, deciding not to complain. But after such a disappointing dining experience, it became impossible to stay quiet.

The next morning, we were told we would receive a complimentary breakfast as compensation. However, when we arrived a little before breakfast hours ended, they refused to honor it and didn’t offer anything instead. We ordered two lattes and nothing else, yet weren’t even offered those complimentary.

For such expensive dining and hotel that charges $800 a night, we expected much better service, attention to detail, and follow-through. This was supposed to be a special trip for us, but instead, it left us feeling dismissed and let down.

An outstanding welcoming - the great doors open automatically and invite one into a magnificent hall that is worth spending some time admiring. Our welcoming hostess, whose name I did not get, was just delightful as were all the staff, especially Hannah and MJ. We should note that the view is pretty wonderful, too. We started with the calamari, which was delicious, then split the chop salad - easy to do for two and very tasty, indeed; it was accompanied by the house focaccia and herbed butter, also tasty. The chicken piccata was just perfect - the mashed potatoes, roasted kale and capers worked very well with the oh-so-tender chicken breast. The wagyu cheesburger was great, too. They offered a nice sponsored wine trio, and we opted for the Dundee rose pinot noir, which worked great with the chicken. The choice of a 6 and 9oz pour was a good offering. The evening's special dessert - a vanilla cookie (which seem to have white chocolate in it) was served with a small garden of blackberries and blueberries. We shared this and paired it with a decaf cap and some nice Smith Tea (Meadow - a chamomile blend). Just a wonderful evening, and again what a great staff! We'll be back! Highly recommended.

Our server and the view were phenomenal. Everything else was very disappointing. We stopped here for lunch while on a roadtrip of US 101. We naively thought its location in a hotel meant we'd find a menu of sandwiches and other simple fare for families. Instead, we found very limited lunch menu with overly pretentious food. Who needs truffle potato chips? I'm fond of truffles on other dishes but the truffle flavor made the chips inedible. And who needs an oil drizzle and Old Bay on an already rich, well-seasoned bowl of clam chowder? The oil made the dish so rich I could eat only a few spoonfuls, and the Old Bay made it too salty. And a burger and bowl of chowder cost more than most dinners on our trip. We won't be back.

We ordered a table, came 10 minutes earlier, and were sitted.
For over 20 minutes no one came to our table.
So we left, very unsatisfied.
We highly suggest not to go to that restaurant.
We go often to restaurants, but have never had such a lousy service.
