Their pastries are to die for. Their coffee and customer service is pretty disapppointing. Every time we’ve been in, most of the staff act like it’s a huge burden to be there. An improvement in their service would make this place a five star establishment.

First time here and we thought it was great. It was very busy, but they were working very efficiently and I moved through pretty quickly, all things considered.
Arrived around 9am on a Saturday and, indeed, the line was out the door, but I still made it to the ordering counter within about 10 minutes (I didn't actually time it, but I perceived it as pretty darn quick given the length of the line). After ordering, my wait was only about 5 minutes for a drip coffee, 20oz cold brew, 2 breakfast sandwiches, and a bakery dessert.
The coffee and food were both great. Bonus: the breakfast sandwiches were larger than we were expecting.

Not service dog friendly. Online ordering is broken. I couldn’t order ahead of time and I couldn’t leave my service dog outside.
Luckily I found the wine bar across the street has a coffee window.

Came on a busy Sunday. Waited about 5 minutes in line. Learned they were out of oatmilk and opted not to get a drink and ordered two pastries. Cashier wouldn’t bag them up, put me in the food queue behind several large food orders. I waited 15 minutes for two bagged pastries. Saw the cashier bag up pastries for folks who checked out after me with zero wait. It was infuriating. Not coming back here.

Coffees okay
Wayyyy too many flies inside flying everywhere and landing everywhere it’s like they’re breeding in there
The service was really bad, and the food… honestly some of the worst I’ve ever had. It only took them a minute to bring me the sandwich — straight from the freezer to the microwave. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Stay away from the matcha!
Rest of it was decent. Not worth the wait imo.

Waaaay over priced, and they don’t post prices, so you awkwardly find out at the register.

I havnt been here in years and honestly the pre-assembled sandwich lacked freshness. The scrambled egg was rubbery and a touch burnt. Not worth $12. Maybe $7? But saddened. Scone still good. Service friendly
Terrible coffee and the baristas are not friendly.

The coffee & food at Stimulus was delicious! Even the drip coffee is worth mentioning. The place smelled great, fresh pastries & coffee in the air. It does get crowded so expect a wait, but one worth it.

A few nice people working here but two super inexperienced and rude baristas made me one of the worst mochas I’ve had :( I asked for less milk and they were appalled by the request/told me no. I will not return.

Really cute spot walkable to Pacific City Beach. They have an on-site bakery and the drinks + goodies we had both days were capital D-elicious— especially the jalapeño + cheese bagel with cream cheese! 🥯
My husband + I were recently vacationing in the area (early July 2025). Both times we were there the wait time was extremely long…🫣
I own a food service establishment and try to be as patience and understanding as possible and we went back a second time because , well, it’s one of very few options in the area but we truly enjoyed our order the first time 😊
Definitely don’t take our long wait times as a reason to skip out on this place though— I’ll be dreaming about that bagel and the almond cake for a long time!✨
