We have been going to Golden Fountain for years except the last ten. The food is really good but not on the same level as the founders. Don't get me wrong, you would be hard pressed to find better takeout. We have plenty of leftovers.

The food was decent. I had a combination plate and gyoza. It was quiet when we first got there but started to get busier after a bit. I’m from Seattle, so the flavors were a bit different and there’s definitely more variety back home. Still, I might stop by again.

Been here a couple times food is really good but the two times we’ve ordered takeout we were told 30-40 minute wait which is totally fine but then we show up at the 40 minute mark and still have to wait another 30+ minutes it’s very frustrating. If you can’t make the food in 30-40 minutes tell people so so they aren’t sitting /standing around waiting even longer. Currently sitting and waiting for an order we placed at 5:40 (was told it would be ready at 6:20) and it’s 7:00pm very frustrated.
Update got our food at almost 7:30pm. Waited over an hour past when we were told to be there to get it. It took them almost 2 hours to make our simple order. People seated after we had already been waiting 30 minutes were getting their food way before people waiting for take out. Terrible service. They only took $7 off for compensation, ridiculous. Frustrated doesn’t even begin to describe how we are feeling leaving this place. Could’ve drove out to Hermiston, gotten food, and drove back in the time they made our order.
