On December 4, 2025, my husband (black) and I (white) stopped at this restaurant for lunch on our way to Newport for a short getaway. The dining room was not that busy as there were about 6 to 7 open tables. The employee looked around the dining room and took us to a back dining room with zero people. Apparently, they couldn't have a black man seated in their main dining room. Menus were put on the table but we were not offered anything to drink and the waiter left. I told my husband I was ordering our food to go as I no longer wanted to be there, and also told him to leave as soon as I received our order. When the waiter brought our to go order, my husband excused himself and went to our vehicle. I paid for our food and then told the waiter how do you think we felt being seated in an empty back room when there were multiple tables available. I considered this blatant racism. We will never return to this establishment.

Picked up some biscuits on Thanksgiving day. As usual, this place has great service, the staff were slammed with Thanksgiving pickups but still managed to take care of a last minute order.

Lynda and her team are wonderful and create a welcoming environment that feels like having a meal at a favorite auntie's house.
Being able to order confidently because they are a dedicated gluten free restaurant is always a treat!

It's been a really long time since I've received service like I did today from all the employees at this restaurant.. I'm still blown away at the hospitality and consideration they show their customers.. I haven't even gotten to the food yet! Let's put it this way... I got really quiet, then placed my plate on top of my head and I could hear the sound of my tongue beating my brains out trying to get to it ! 😂 If you haven't eaten here, this is your sign! You won't regret it!

A true gem in Central Oregon. Great BBQ, sides and the best chocolate chip cookies around. All the food is gluten free, but you’d never know if not told. The owner regularly makes the rounds chatting with customers. The pulled pork is my favorite. Tried the meatloaf last time, which I loved. The Tri-Tip could be a bit more tender.

Listen, their big deal is being aggressively gluten free- and that's awesome; but the BBQ, oh man, the BBQ, just amazing. Great spot, will be back 100%

Since “gluten” is an issue for my wife and inlaw, true gluten free restaurants are a treasure. The four of us all had different menu items from chicken pot pie to a taco sampler to ribs with cornbread. All were excellent and you would never know it was GF. Well done!

Love the food and people. You're treated like family from the moment you walk in. Food is DELICIOUS! Friday night is our favorite night, Tri-Tip for the win. And the dessert case is phenomenal.

I'm a simple man with complex tastes. I love good food. Eats and Treats has that in abundance. I ordered the two meats plate: pulled pork, and tri-tip on a Friday. The pulled pork was flavorful and well smoked. The tri-tip was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I ordered the cucumber salad as a side... so good. Red wine vinegar, dill, crunchy cucumbers 🤤. The perfect accompaniment in texture and flavor for a PLATE of smoked meats. The heart attack roll is must try. The sauces were well thought out. Horseradish aioli paired very well with the tri-tip(recommended by the server who did an amazing job). I dont give out 5 star reviews often, but this place deserves a pat on the back, while I pat my stomach.

Linda the owner is so warm and inviting. I feel like she a long lost cousin. MacKensy(sp?) Hostess / servicer was a delight and very helpful.
Oh.. you want to know about the food & dessert. DO IT! Husband had pork loin special. I had the taco salad. Food here is allergy supportive but you would never know!!! It's amazing! Hubby(no allergies) loved everything! They sold out of the coconut cream pie but we will be back!!

Only complaints is price is high and portions little small for the price. Love that it's 100% gluten free environment, food was great, and service was wonderful. Their cornbread was the best I have had in YEARS.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
An absolutely fantastic experience!
From start to finish, we felt truly valued as customers. Our server, Lola, was awesome — attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making us feel like part of the family. This place is a gem — we’ll definitely be back!
