I mean I pretty much come here same time throughout the week and Zach is always the one who makes my sandwich. He is never in a bad mood always makes fire sandwich’s and is all out a great guy come check this place out if you get a chance.

Went into subway today and the lady who greeted me was sweet until it came to veggies. She barley gave me any mayo because the bottle was empty. Very disappointed in the service

As a business owner myself, i'm very impressed with excellent customer service because it is so lacking and the younger people working have little concept of what it takes to deliver excellent customer service. That's why this interaction with Zach in Philomath Subway was such a standout and i felt compelled to share this review.
Upon entering, Zach was the only person working, and he was serving another customer in front of my family of four. I noticed he was very patient with this other customer as her demands were very specific and he was unphased. Then the phone started ringing and somehow he was able to answer the phone and deal with a customer's odd sounding requests on the phone, while still engaging with his customer as he finished up her order.
Then it was our turn...my wife and my two young children who were bouncing around and creating a somewhat chaotic environment. Zach was very kind and spoke to my kids and answered all of our questions and proceeded to make us three delicious sandwiches and had a positive attitude and took pride in what he was doing. It made the experience stand out and were impressed with his excellent customer service.
Thank you for renewing my faith in the younger employees in service related jobs - some of you understand what it takes to deliver a great experence. Good luck, Zach. thanks for your A+ attitude, it will take you far.

I came into the store a little before noon on a Saturday and Zach was the only one there. I could tell that he had been hard at work. But still greeted me promptly and warmly. I asked for wheat bread which was still warm. He made a perfect hinge cut. He also had fresh chocolate chip cookies. How could I say no?
Zach is an awesome employee. Please go support him. And buy from him. I'm suggesting you buycott him specifically. I know he worked on a Saturday morning. Let's help this good human succeed!

I almost called the store to ask them if they forgot about me in the drive thru. When the clerk appeared at the windiw he acknowledged that they did indeed forget about me and had lost my order.
They must have made the sandwich from memory....it was close but not exactly what I ordered. Sandwich was NOT toasted as requested. The sandwich was dripping in mayo when I had ordered light mayo.

My service rating of 2 stars does not reflect on the staff. They are excellent. The 2 star service rating is due to the consistent lack of wheat bread. While whole grain wheat seems to be among the more popular options, I find they are consistently out of it when I try to order. Since this bread is the only kind I enjoy it has become a gamble as to whether or not the trip is a waste of time and gas. That said, the quality of the bread at this location is far superior to other locations in the area - especially the one on philomath blvd near safeway in corvallis where the bread is consistently leathery and/or hard.

I got food poisoning at this location, I found black stuff in my sandwich. I will not be coming back to this location again.
The server we had was friendly, quick and also caught an order mistake and made it right. Nice to see honesty in the workplace. The place was also clean.
