Tani Sushi and Japanese Cuisine is a hidden gem in the Rogue Valley. Don’t be fooled by the location—it doesn’t look like a typical sushi restaurant, but the selection of fish is large and very fresh. The preparation feels genuinely authentic and distinctly Japanese, with great attention to detail in every dish. The two owners are very friendly and willing to answer any questions or simply chitchat. The exclusive sake selection makes the experience even more unique, and the bar included in the building is well stocked. The sushi is fantastic, with incredible fish paired with elegant garnish. Everything is amazing, from the oysters to every roll. The experience makes you appreciate and slow down while you enjoy the layers of flavors, the quality of ingredients, and artistry. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it is worth it. It is easily one of the best spots in the area for high-quality sushi. There is simply nothing else like this.
