The bartender on Sunday night was rude, gave poor service, and literally chased us to the curb. Worst bar I've ever been to in Portland. Do not recommend.

This is my favorite place to drink when I’m in Portland. The rustic feel and the cast of characters at the bar sucked me in from the moment I got in til I left. The beers and sake are curated with care, and if you are so lucky to catch some live music there, you won’t be disappointed…go enjoy!

One of the few bars I know of where I can hang by a fireplace on a rainy day. I always enjoy myself at 13th moon - the drinks, ambiance and company are excellent.
Ari Moss, the owner and operator, is a wonderful energy. His beer and mead, on tap at the bar, is easily some of the best you'll try.
Also probably the best selection and variety of fine drinks I've ever seen in one place, especially for an independent local establishment.
If you haven't been here yet you're missing out! I personally don't drink often, but when I do, I drink at 13th Moon ~

Super cool spot. Cozy bar with natural wood furnishings, a fireplace, and a dope selection of interesting beers, wines, ciders, even a mead if you're into that kind of thing. Staff are friendly. There's often really great live music going on. Food is nibbles, tinned fish and cheese kind of thing. I wouldn't make it your dinner spot, but there is snacking to be had and a food truck in the parking lot for more substantial fare. Would recommend.
