I wasn’t a fan of their special at the time, Lemon Colada S’mores. Maybe I should’ve just ordered their original options. The S’more Mocha was good. It’s a cute little shop but I don’t think it’s worth returning as a tourist.
Soooooooooo good!!! I honestly never expected s’mores could taste like this! They make their own marshmallows and toast them to perfection, yielding an end result that has a little char on the outside and is wonderfully gooey & melty on the inside. Word to the wise: this will quite possibly be the messiest dessert you will ever eat, but it’s definitely worth it. Make sure you grab at least 2 wet naps and open them up BEFORE you start eating. Trust me, opening the wet naps...
Only in Portland could you pitch a premise as absurd as a confectioner specializing in s'mores, and only s'mores, and have it actually be successful!
This quirky, blink-and-you'll-miss-it, hole-in-the-wall marshmallow mercantile wouldn't feel out of place in a popular state park like Fort Stevens or Camp Sherman, but stumbling across it at random on a walk through downtown will definitely cause a few double-takes. It's the sort of "don't-believe-it-until-you-see-it"...
