The most amazing Eastern European food I’ve ever had. It’s definitely worth a try. The guy working the stand was very personable and served me his favorites. Definitely was not disappointed. Food is high quality. Genuinely homemade. Secret ingredient was love and passion. Portion sizes are pretty big.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We had a blue corn massa with green garlic and mushrooms - so delicious and unlike any tamale we had ever had, in a good way. Also, a similarly unique and uncommonly good quesadilla, blue corn tortilla, cabbage two ways, cheese and sauce, so scrumptious. Finally the Pork Collar Confit - WoW! Melt in your mouth tender meat, great flavors, and wonderful 'Mexican-Lebanese' flatbreads to soak up all of he deliciousness.

Our tables favorites were the tamale, the mole sauce, and that pork was incredible. The crispy cabbage and the amazing buttery sauce on the pasta were exceptional. Elevated Oaxacan mastery. Loved it!!

I was really excited at the start of the meal because the first course was perfect. It was an octopus and beet dish. The rest of the meal was delicious but the food was too rich for me to enjoy. Next time I will order with an eye to the lighter dishes, which I think in the case of the night I dined at Lilia Comedor, were the non-vegetarian choices.

Food made with love! probably the best pork dish I've ever had! Will dream about it lol. Drinks were delish as well! Loved that the servers explained every dish. Wish we had tried dessert! 100% will be back.

I found this place a bit confusing - veggies & wine were great BUT proteins... Why fly in live scallops from Alaska only to throw so much on top of them that you can't even taste the actual scallop anymore? The granita was too much & was way too sweet, so much so that this felt like a dessert but was an appetizer...why? The actual mole was good & paired well with the roasted beets but the main star of the show on the plate was intended to be the duck which was way overcooked. Definitely a medium to well done versus a medium rare I had high hopes for this spot but overall the food didn't deliver. One of the servers was brilliant & friendly. The other, awkward & kind of curt. The whole experience felt disjointed.

Food was outstanding; the duck and nixtamalized beets absolutely blew me and my partner away. The Chef's Counter tasting menu is fully worth it, gastronomically, at $98 a head. I am dairy intolerant and the kitchen modified one dish for me and completely substituted another, and I never felt at all like I was missing out or not getting a wonderful dish as a result. Really appreciate the chef's flexibility and the work they put into every dish.

This location is on the corner of 4rd and Burnside near the Chevron. This news open late night with great service and awesome food. I work over nights and live downtown. The portions are awesome I would recommend this and will be a regular at this location.

Not only does the food look beautiful...it's amazing. Chef Juan is an incredible and talented. Sit at the chef's counter. Great experience with Chef Juan Gomez explains the origin of the food and how it's prepared. The desserts AMAZING. Support Chef Juan and his team.

I took my wife to Lilia Comador for early Valentines Day dinner this weekend. We've been wanting to eat here for a while, and holy cow was it simply the BEST dining experience!!! Owner/chef Juan Gomez and his staff are absolute LEGENDS! We did the chef's counter experience, where Chef Gomez walks you through what went into every dish, and you can taste true love and joy in every morsel...every individual ingredient. This is the finest dining experience in Portland with not one iota of pretentiousness. Chef even happily posed for a pic with us after dinner. 10 Stars on a Five Star scale. Go do this. You will NOT regret it. Thank you Chef Gomez for an amazing experience!

Lovely chef's counter experience. Loved watching the plates come out and seeing the chef's gastronomical talents on display in prep and precision. Would recommend for a delicious dinner!

We decided to have the full course ( one of everything on the menu) for 4 people. The protein dishes were delicious but the plant based dishes were a little underwhelming. We were surprised that we were left with the same tasting plate throughout the whole course of the meal. At this price point you should get a fresh tasting plate with every dish that is being serve. Still a great experience but I don't think we would go back.

We sat at the counter and did the chef's tasting menu, and loved absolutely everything! The staff was also super friendly and knowledgable. Lovely time, will definitely be back.
