The best Hawaiian food I've had in Portland! Their spicy tuna poke and fried chicken are excellent. They have great sauces too! The customer service is always fast and good, and the food comes out fast! The area has gotten more sketchy lately, I wish in was in a safer neighborhood, but food and service are the best in town for Hawaiian food!

Yummy Hawaiian food! A little too salty but still delicious. Food portions were big. Craft beer inside and food truck outside. The surrounding area and street has quite a few RV’s/tents/homeless people riding bikes and walking up and down the street. Didnt feel super unsafe while I was there

Large portions. Great prices. Fried chicken is phenomenal. So tender but also crispy. I only wish it had a sweeter sauce option as the teriyaki and ginger soy are both salty. Kahlua pork was good just a little on the salty side for me. Again, I wish there was a sweeter sauce option. Mac salad is good but could use a little more ground onion in my opinion. Overall, this is a solid pick for Hawaiian especially at that price point! My sweet tooth prefers NoHo's but unfortunately that's more pricey. Would come back for the fried chicken.

Some of the best Hawaiian BBQ I've ever had. The 808 chicken w the Wasabi mayo did it, and combo w pulled pork sealed it.

Everything is as good as normal EXCEPT why are you putting frozen peas in mac salad? It's gross and unnecessary just leave them out. I've never had peas in anything like this (including on the islands) except for tuna casserole.
We get your food a lot and never seen frozen peas on anything before. Disappointing since mac salad is the easiest thing to make.

The kalua meat was too salty, like blah. They were out of many of their menu items and i ordered early. I tried to call to change my order several times and there was no answer. Maccaroni salad and wasabi aioli were good though.

We had them cater our daughter’s wedding reception and the food was DELICIOUS! Best Mac salad outside of the one our family makes ? They showed up, set up, and were ready when the guests came downstairs without me even having to check-in with them. They were so nice and friendly to our guests. One server even brought over a special plate for the groom to be sure he didn’t miss out. Can’t say enough good things about our experience with this restaurant. Thank you for helping make our daughter and son-in-law’s special day all the more enjoyable! Highly recommend 808 Grinds for catering services!!
