A Comer is a delightful little gem and a hidden Mexican food cart in NW Portland on 28th and Thurman. The food is authentic and traditional, with a true Mexican ambiance. The wonderful people running the cart are very nice. The nopales are the best, and the quesadilla and carne asada burrito are delicious. The salsas, including the habanero and the medium spicy one, are favorites and provide great flavor. The cart is easy to find and offers plenty of shaded seating in a covered patio, as well as seating outside to enjoy the sunshine. Parking is easy. It is a perfect, chill lunch spot and a place you will definitely want to return to.
