Okay first time at Abyssinian Kitchen, food okay but 3 people two beers one large platter of food $30 per person and 18% gratuity? $110 not well spent. Hopefully the gratuity is shared with the staff vs the owner, learned my lesson for Portland visitor.
Very good food, service and reasonable prices. I had the lentil sambusa for an appetizer, Asa Dulet which is a chopped spicy Tilapia with their very interesting and very good bread and Baklava for dessert. All were delicious and I was pleased with the service.
Great food. The beet salad was well spiced. The yellow peas were delicious. The mild cheese went well as a side to the red lentils. The drinks were solid. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were friendly. Came in hangry and left in a good mood. Will come again.
