Turkey & Brie wasn't anything special. The Brie was nice, but the turkey was very dry and baguette was a little tougher than usual. It could have used salted butter to make it pop. Otherwise, the small sandwich shop vibe was nice, and I enjoyed the sides. I'll definitely be back to try some of the more interesting options and revise my review.
As a sandwich shop owner, I must say, quite impressive and delicious. We ordered the Ham and Gruyere, Brie and cucumber, and the fantastic Duck Cofi and cranberry. Pure yummy flavors and the bread was crispy and brown and soft in the middle. Perfect for our train ride home. The staff were super friendly and our sandwiches showed up full of inspiration in no time. Highly recommended!
I really want to like this place, as it's near the office, the staff is very friendly, and the ingredients they are of good quality. The issue I have is that the food is too often under seasoned, lacking in good flavor balance, or just plain weird combinations of things that might seen good in concept, but don't work well together in execution. The good: The pate baguette is very good, as are a few of the more common panini combinations. The bad: The deli salads...
