“I was really looking forward to trying this ramen spot, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. After being seated, we waited about 25 minutes before anyone even took our order—and that was only after I had to flag down a server. When the food finally arrived, it was just warm, not hot. On top of that, they forgot our gyoza, yet still tried to charge us for them at the end. Overall, disappointing experience with slow service and mediocre execution. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Close to Slabtown but I wouldn't say sushi is great. It's okay.
I did like flights of Sake though. That's fun.

The salty edamame was vegan without the yuzu shio sauce. The Fruit Shira-ae Salad included bitter greens, strawberries, apples, miso, yuzu, cashews, and tofu dressing. I didn't like the salad, but my partner enjoyed the Hazelnut Tantan.
Avoid sitting at the bar - it's breezy every time a guest opens the restaurant's front door to come or go.

Came in just as lunch service was ending so didnt order food; and promised to return. I did notice the wind and cold sweeps into the bar when door opens. Any way to instal a 3-sided hollow tube frame and drape some heavy curtains to create a vestibule? Just s thought to make the bar a bit more cozy and warmer. Thankvyou.

For being called "ramen +dumpling", the dumplings can no longer be found on the menu here. I was told they have switched to serving ramen +sushi. Bring the dumplings back, please!

So Mad! Made reservations through Toast and they were confirmed for Christmas day, and we showed up and they were closed. No way to contact anyone. Never going there again.
I love eating at Afuri. I’ve spent so much money here over the years but I need management to learn the simple concept of shutting down a table section when the kitchen and wait staff are too busy. This is restaurant management 101!!!
I’ve consistently waited 30+ minutes for one bowl of ramen in fact I started timing my orders and checking the restaurant occupancy this year to see if it’s a consistent pattern. 45 minutes today . Ramen in Japan takes like 5 min max.

I’ve been coming to this place for so long that I’ve lost count of my visits—I absolutely love it here! However, after today’s experience, I won’t be using the takeout option again. I called to order three hazelnut ramens with the chili on the side (since they were for kids) and one Yuzu Tsuyu. Before leaving the restaurant, I double-checked that the chili was packaged separately, and everything seemed fine. But when we got home and started eating, the ramen was extremely spicy! It turns out they had added chili to the broth despite my specific request to leave it out.
While the Yuzu Tsuyu was absolutely delicious, this small oversight ruined our meal—the kids couldn’t eat the ramen, which made for a disappointing evening. 😢

Ramen bland, overpriced and 4$ extra for a single small slice of pork
Cold uninviting, tables too close together, but the food was delicious.
