I go to Japan regularly and this is some of the best ramen I have had in the USA. The soft-shell crab tempura is awesome! Atmosphere was good, service was great.

We love sitting at the bar, but this time of year every time the door opens, it brings an arctic breeze. That being said, I LOVE Afuri. We had edamsme, cucumber salad, spicy wings and two kinds of ramem. All delicious.

The food was amazingly good and tasty and go for the set lunch deal which includes choice of your ramen and a side dish and a drink for additional $6. Well worth. What was weird is the male server who greeted us said there was only counter seating when there were still some tables empty and a huge table that sits 16 people have 1 person eating at the far end. I felt he was discriminating.

Afuri is consistently good! I love that they expanded their menu and added more sushi like the SE location. The space is cute and clean and the staff is always really nice. The sushi is good and fresh. Ramen is always good. The Don bowls are soo good and a great lunch options. The basque cheesecake was excellent it’s a must get. Oh and the yuzu limeade is also delicious!

Always good, this is a great place for lunch - and dinner. The original SE Afuri is dinner only, and is a favorite place in town. But sometimes you need good day ramen.

I really like Slabtown due to the lunch option. Plus, for an extra $6, you get a small app and a beverage on top of the regular menu ramen and donburi choices.

It’s like the perfect lunch for $25. Make it a date.
