I really love the food here, the wings trio plate was great. The customer service is so kind. It’s always great to go when Akadi is less busy so moving forward I’m going to try for week nights instead of weekends. I went on a Saturday night so there was some delays but overall my friends and I really enjoyed ourselves.
We had appetizers and 4 dishes. Everything was seasoned well, spicy (not hot) and flavorful. We had 3 Vegan dishes and the Fish.
The care the Chef took making our dishes was evident. From the main courses to the plantains. There wasn't a dish that was a miss or just an OK.
Service is slower so be prepared for it to be more laid back. Which they say is their style.

Bar-none some of the best food I've had in Portland. We went with the appetizer sampler platter to try their 3 different wings, yucca, samosas, and plantains, plus a side of jollof rice each, and every single thing was incredible. This place alone is reason enough to come visit the city.
