Honestly as good as you are going to get. Everything is wonderful, baba ganoush best I've had in ages. Only criticism was the "filet" was a very chewy, but all other meats great.

Having lived for a decade in Lebanon, I'm very picky when it comes to Lebanese food. I would rather not eat it than pay for mediocre dishes. If you're the same, look no further than Al Hawr. It is, by far, the best Lebanese restaurant in Portland and could compete with the best ones back home. The staff is friendly and attentive, the owner will recognize you if you come back after one visit, and the food is out of this world. I try to take photos every time I go and end up forgetting because I just want to dig in. I was invited to look at the kitchen at the end of one dinner and it was spotless. The cheese rolls are crispy and addictive, the kibbeh is refined and tender, the meats are perfectly seasoned and cooked, the hummus is creamy, the baba ghannouj is flavorful and topped with vibrant pomegranate seeds, I could go on and on. The portions are generous and I love taking home leftovers to enjoy the next day. Parking has been super easy every time I've been. If you're looking for Lebanese food today, don't think twice and go there.
The food is absolutely delicious! We got sampler appetizer with hummus, tabuleh etc. and the filet mignon plate. Both really good!

All of the food here is excellent. I got the falafel and it was some of the best I have ever had. The pita is warm and soft and all the sauces (yogurt, tahini, hummus) are fantastic. The service was amazing and the restaurant has great vibes. Definitely worth trying!
