A Portland friend introduced me to this absolutely delightful complex, which includes a gift shop and a meeting space, and this intimate restaurant. It is east of the river, in a pleasant neighborhood. The dining area has many windows, looking out on nature; it almost feels like a heated sun porch. The food was exceptionally good, and for the quality, a real bargain. We both had the three-course lunch -- soup or salad, entree, and dessert -- and I was pleasantly surprised at the relatively low bill. I would have been happy to pay much more. If you are in Portland, or visiting Portland, and you enjoy non-chain, interesting places to eat (and shop), this is worth getting the directions and hours. I loved it!

Lovely kitschy ladies day out place. I was not too impressed with our lunch. The servers are all very pleasant volunteers so don't really know much about the food which is a challenge when you're on a special diet.
Super nifty place! Cute gift shops and the whole place is volunteer. It was an awesome experience. Will go back again.
