The food at Alecocina is so delicious! I especially love the milanesa and empanadas. For dessert you have to get the alfajores, they are so tasty. The owner is such a delightful person and provides such great service. I highly recommend dining here!

Very delicious food and you get a big portion for what you pay. Its comfort food. The beef Milanesa Napolitana is what I tried. The Cañoncitos were delicious as well (dulce de leche flavored).
A milanesa sándwich with brioche breads is not Argentine , is my only turn down as an

Very good food and excellent service
All I tried here was actually very good quality , have , fresh made ,literally making it , texture and flavor top notch , you would still have to go to Argentina to get the real deal but this place can give you a taste and multiply by 25 what is going on over there , churros are much better than what they sell everywhere else in Portland fill with dulce de Leche, now in most of southamerica they use powder sugar on top. Instead of sugar .but ..... was pretty good .4.7

Beef empanadas were light and crispy but lacking in flavor.

Expected more from the empanadas. The beef one was the best one. But they were underwhelming. >.<

Edit:I went finally to try it. I made sure to call ahead to see if they were open. Lady on the phone seemed to be confused why I was asking. I told her that I tried before and they didn't open until 12:30. She seemed disinterested in this information, or it didn't come as a shock.I have an au pair from Argentina and she's a bit homesick so I wanted to treat her and it's the only Argentinian food in town. I ordered the empanadas and 3 of the milenesas with fries. Order took 35 minutes. I asked them at 20 minutes when it would be ready (I had an impatient toddler with me) and he said it's almost ready. Asked again at 30 minutes 'it's almost ready'. I said 'you said that 10 minutes ago and the cook in the back rudely yelled at me "we make everything fresh!". Sorry but it shouldn't take 30 minutes for some fried flat iron steak and fries at a food cart. Food came out and was shockingly underwhelming. Unseasoned and no sauce but some ketchup packets.Total bill was 51 dollars for 3 people. If you want bland, expensive food with rude/disinterested staff this is your place. I looked up how to make milenesas and it's pretty simple so I won't be eating here ever again.Original:Went on Sunday to eat there and it was 12:30. They're hours online are posted as open at 11:00 a.m. and it was closed. Too slow sauntering men who looked hungover were taking their sweet time opening. I asked him how long it would take before I could order and they basically ignored me. No " Will be with you in a moment" or anything. They just acted like I wasn't standing there. I wouldn't know if the food is any good because they don't seem to find being open very important.

I ate a Neapolitan Milanese... It was acceptable... But with a slightly thicker meat better... And the tomato sauce is less sweet. The Cuban girl who served us was very helpful and friendly.
Delicious all the food and your wonderful attention ?
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and it was delicious?
Pablo, I respectfully tell you that the portions are bigger than what they usually serve in food trucks, I also understand that in this country there is a lot of Obesity, I recommend that next time you go to a buffet!!?? I am a customer I frequent and I love ARGENTINE CUISINE!!!
Choripan nothing to do with very small portions and very expensive and the service is not even bad to attend bad experience ?
