The proprietor of this beautiful little food cart, Kal, refers to his menu as “slow food” and you understand why the first bite you take.Everything you will order is perfectly flavored, presented beautifully and it is more than apparent how much time and love has gone in to its preparation. Have you ever had your eyes roll back from just hummus? Exactly. That’s what I mean. Anything you decide to try will be like that. And an aside: the brunch! My god, the brunch. Get the Lebanese Fatteh, bread and an oat chai. Your life will change forever.

I’ve had the Lebanese Fatteh, Kuwaiti Style Shakshouka, & the Iranian Kuku Sabzi. I must say, these dishes are PHENOMENAL. What I love most about Alley Mezza is this isn’t a typical brunch experience. I’m not drowning in mimosas or scarfing down Eggs Benedict, no, I’m savoring delectable vegan dishes carefully chosen and crafted. This experience feels personal as I was able to watch Khal (the owner & chef) prepare the plates right in front of me. I highly recommend this gem to EVERYONE. This is a must try local experience.

We had dinner there tonight and it was absolutely tremendous. The hummus was the best I’ve ever had; perfect amount of olive oil included. Salads were fresh and delicious. Bread was outstanding. You know how sometimes you eat something and it just completely rekindles and reminds you of how amazing food can be? This was that. Go, right now. Alley Mezza is marvelous in every way.

Favorite hummus of all time... and I’ve eaten A LOT of hummus- so creamy. Every dish we tried was amazing and tasted super fresh with vibrant flavors. Highly recommend to vegans and non vegans alike! I’ll be back soon!

This is a great spot for dinner. It’s casual and delicious. I really enjoyed the Labna. You’ll need to order the Arabic bread or something to eat the dips with.

Very tasty food. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and clearly enjoys his craft. Reasonable pricing lets you try multiple dishes at a time. Good for sharing. Gluten free options available. Try it, you won't regret it!
