We sat at the bar on a Monday night and it was very cute and cozy. The bread, Caesar salad, tomato and mozzarella gnocchi, and the rigatoni with eggplant and garlic were all delightful. I didn't try the limoncello but the Italian mule was very refreshing without being overpowering.
I would definitely choose this again for a date night to try some of the other dishes oand sauces.

Good food for private or business meetings. Went for business meeting and shared all appetizers - mixed experience. The fries were disappointing. Main dishes were good. So were the cocktails.

The only place we would trust in Portland metro for carbonara—outside our house. It was a fabulous dinner tonight. But I had the whole house to myself. A tragedy or a delight? This place is usually a bumpin’ joint, but it was nice to sit in solace away from the sun and crowds.

I will definitely be going back. I went for my birthday and it was perfect!! Our waiter was soooo awesome. He took pictures and my Polaroid pictures and made sure they looked good. It has a nice warm classy atmosphere. The food was delicious! I got the gnocchi and it was amazing. I also got the espresso martini and it was one of the better ones I’ve had! The crème brûlée and tiramisu are super good too. Personally I thought the meat and cheese board was kinda lacking, but truly that was my only picky complaint

This is the place. Local, intimate, with outstanding personal service. The recommendations were spot-on and the ragu is delicious. Give it a try, you will love it.

I am still thinking about how delicious everything on the menu is. Haven't had everything, but I know its great! My sister and I had a fabulous time in Portlands Pearl District. When im in town next, I WILL be eating here again.

I’ve been to Allora several times now, and each visit has been consistently impressive. The food is not only very good—it’s crafted with care and intention.
I once read, “Food should not just taste good; it should leave you feeling good.” Allora truly embraces this philosophy. Their sparing use of dairy and mindful ingredient choices reflect a deeper commitment to wellness without compromising flavor.
A place that satisfies the palate and respects the body—highly recommended.

Service was great. Overall, the food was not. Basil lemonade didn’t taste like basil or lemonade. The aglio e olio had a fishy taste which was confusing. The short rib ragu wasn’t good. The tiramisu seemed like it had been frozen and recently thawed, leaving watery spots inside. However, the sweet corn soup and crème brûlée were good.
The other issue was a person came in from outside, clearly under the influence of drugs, went into the only visible restroom and stayed in there for at least 15 minutes. We finished our dessert and left before they came out.
If you’re asking folks to pay $50+ per person for dinner, please make better food and try to prevent people from using the bathroom for drug-related reasons.

Everyone enjoyed their dish. My lasagna had a very tasty sauce, but the noodles were very crisp and tough. I would return and try something else.

The food was delicious – I got the gnocchi primavera with fiddleheads and basil limonata mocktail. The service was efficient, and the specials were inventive and intriguing.
Only complaint: The odor coming from the bathroom should definitely be minimized, which was noticeable when sitting at the bar, or the table closest to the restroom.
