First time visiting this classic old-school donut shop bakery in NE Portland. The service by the owner was quick and attentive. On this particular Sunday afternoon, the selections were very limited, but I was fortunate enough to get my hands on some Raised Sugar Donuts, Maple Old Fashion Donuts, and Maple Bars...Needless to say, these heavenly delights do not make it back home, on the drive back to South Salem. The atmosphere was a mixed bag of families, couples, and singles having a late brunch or early afternoon snack in a comfortable neighborhood go to hangout.

Annies is my favorite donut shop. They have a maple bar that is less sugary and more buttery, highly recommend.

Took my kids on a doughnut tour of the greater Portland metroplex and they chose Annie's as the best (over the likes of Voodoo, Blue Star, and others). The reason: classic doughnuts done right. My kids are too young to understand nostalgia, but they're old enough to know that a simple chocolate bar doesn't need cereal toppings or a bougie price tag to be delicious. They said we should award a prize to the best doughnut joint, so this five-star review is it.

Old school doughnuts, we go here because it reminds my girlfriend of the ones you get in California.Pulled up on a calm sunny afternoon just before a family with audibly excited children.Picked out some really good stuff especially the chocolate doughnuts w/ peanuts, apple sauce, etc.Felt silently judged by the older lady working there which made the experience that much more indulgent and sideways stares from the parents for buying the remaining doughnut holes 10/10.

Everything was great and then I asked for coffee which they had the vanilla in the Hazel nut. And the lady from the back screamed don't sell it. It's old and she's still sold to me. I said no, thank you. I don't want it after I tasted it. Taste of chalk in water. No coffee, I let her know and she says well, I like it and she took it and drink it. At that point I just got my donuts. Which were very, very good and I. Left. Service was great. She was very nice until I told her I did not want the drink. The donuts were great. Just do not Drink the coffees.

Forget about Voodoo donuts or any of those, this sweet neighborhood gem on good ol’ Sandy are absolutely phenomenal. By far the freshest donuts I’ve ever had in my life so far, and the variety here is amazing. Cute looking place that has kept that nice old retro style look, and gives great speedy service every time! My favorites are the apple and raspberry bear claws, and the fritters. Best time to come are definitely the earlier times if you want the most variety, and the best quality! You won’t regret it, I hope this place never closes.⭐️?⭐️

I went there one day hoping to have some donuts. I got there before 6 pm so I waited since their schedule says it opens at 6pm but they didn't. I waited 10 more minutes to see but I just wasted my time. They never opened.

Everything a donut shop should be. This place is a treasure, steeped in vibes that are becoming increasingly rare. The old fashioned and maple old-fashioned are incredible. I’ll be back for other flavors for sure.

This is hands down the best donut spot in town. Voodoo, angels, blue star, heavenly, eat your heart out. Annie's has been here for a long time and Annie's kills it every time. I'd put any donut against an Annie's donut any day of the week. Prices are reasonable and the service is good enough. I'd suggest you get your coffee somewhere else, but you came for donuts and Annie's has the best donuts. The shop is small, and you'd probably think it isn't much to look at and you're right, but seriously the donuts are worth it. I'll be a repeat customer.
