So sad that Arleta is closing for good. This was my partner and my favorite brunch spot. They never disappointed us the numerous times we went. The staff was alway so kind and amazing as well. We are really going to miss this place. Thank you guys for everything!

So sad to hear that this place is closing. Thank you for all your years in our neighborhood. Your biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had. I hope you find another home and wish all of the staff the best.

Hands down, one of my top 5 places for brunch in Portland - and I live here. You really can't go wrong - I typically switch it up between the biscuits and gravy and the TG, depending on how hungry I am. The daily special is usually pretty tempting, too. In general, I don't waste my calories on sweets I don't need, but I cannot go in here and NOT get a piece of the coffee cake. Warning - go early - it never lasts. Nick, the owner, and crew are salt of the earth folks - they define why eating local and supporting small business matters.

BEST BISCUITS AND GRAVY IN PDX! Also, the Sicilian Hash is bomb! This is a small, local spot with incredible food and great service everytime. The mimosa is heavy on the Prosecco and the Stumptown coffee is always flowing.

Worth the wait if there is one. Best server ever works here and she will not make you feel invisible. Housemade condiments, hot quality coffee, and fantastic environment. A little cramped but it's worth it.

I don't ever "Yelp" but this place is amazing. Unassuming to look at but that's a part of the reason it was so wonderful. Hole-in-the-wall joints are my favorite and this place has instantly become one of my go tos. I had the Portlander scramble which was delicious. Everything is seasoned perfectly and tastes like your grandma cooked it, perfectly homemade. The staff were super sweet and it just felt like home in there. Thanks for making a regular out of me!

Cozy little hole in the wall. Great if you like stiff coffee and big portions of excellent breakfast!

Super smiley and positive staff, cute little mom & pop cafe, and great food! Get there early, or expect to wait, as the place is tiny, but, worth it. Super fresh well seasoned semi-creative flavor profiles on the menu; I had the Portlander scramble which was delightful. Portions are actually "human" size, served on vintage plates to add to that homey feel. The scone lived up to it's reputation; pear & five spice, served warm, and just perfect. Coffee was a bit harsh, no wi-fi, and the place, while clean, could use a power scrub due to all the clutter. Still, for a natives only joint, I hope this place is around for a very very long time. Totally enjoyable.

One of the best breakfast in town by far I suggest you go and try the biscuits and gravy and it will ruin breakfast for you for the rest of your life

I really don't know why they call this place a bakery. They only had Corn bread muffins with raspberry filling for sell 3. The muffins are $3 apiece. They had a small portion of cornbread You could buy. Then they had a 2 of this pears with Ginger Creation For sale to. That was it for their entire bakery section.I have a picture of their entire bakery section. A lady told me that she made all that stuff today. The cornbread muffin with Raspberry filling was rather disappointing. The cornbread part was delicious but the raspberry filling Was a mistake. They had other things you could order like sandwiches but they did not offer me a menu for that or anything.

Favorite brekky place in the neighborhood. Almost dont wanna say anything so it won't become overrun like so many other places. Old school friendly Portland vibes, almost always get the TG, but the quiche is also excellent.

The name is misleading and it’s doesn’t help that they won’t even answer if they are really a library or not. I was excited to go their with my daughter but when I got their the place was very small and definitely not a library.

Cozy neighborhood spot. Great French press coffee, friendly staff and good food. The scones are pretty small...I'd opt for the toast in the future as the side to my breakfast.

Saw everyone raving about the biscuits and gravy so went to try it.

THE. BEST. Biscuits and Gravy you will have in your life. Buttery biscuits, thick gravy, potatoes, and on top of all that: it’s given to you at a fair price. I myself am a bang for your buck kind of guy - this is exactly what you get here, and then some. The customer service is top notch as well. I promise you will keep coming back after you try their food. They treat you with a very home-like vibe too. It’s great. I couldn’t say enough good things about this place.
