Poke bowl was not great, tuna was so salty and just on a bed of salad mix not even spring mix. Korean chicken was just grilled chicken with some kind of red sauce that had too much ginger in it- nothing Korean about it. Should have just gone to

Go to Mashita Teriyaki. They are far superior than Ate-Oh-Ate lately.
Edit: decided to give them another chance.
Portion of chicken is still half of what it was maybe 2ish weeks ago.
I also paid for extra teriyaki sauce, but I never got it.
Food is good as always. They seemed to have decreased their portion size.
Probably won't be back for the price and what you get now.
I eat here almost once a week and it's normally like 2 layers of chicken. This time, it's basically one. ?

Ate Oh Ate is a go to for a delicious, simple meal with plenty of leftovers. The Shoyu Chicken is my favorite, it's tasty warm and cold. The spices always surprise me in the best way. Of course, the kahlua pig is not to be missed. It is moist, savory and the best porky mouthful!

M'eh. We were eager to try this place but it wasn't what we hoped. Pork sandwich was very good, but rather skimpy. Chicken sandwich - disappointing as I make better at home. Salad - mediocre.

We don't really have many Hawaiian food places on the East coast so we had to try one while out here. My wife got the Loco Loco which she enjoyed. I got the Teriyaki Chicken and my only complaint was that it was a little cold. The macaroni salad was pretty good. I usually ignore it but I did like this one for a change.

Came in excited to try the food but never got to as I sat forever without even being acknowledged. Finally just left. They didn’t seem busy, there was like one other person eating, and they seemed staffed. So I don’t know what was up.

My husband and I went in Oct 24th at maybe around 5 pm. He likes to chat with everyone and is always friendly, but the girl wearing all brown was very passive aggressive to us both at the cash register. We forgot the number for our table and she brought it over and slammed it on the table with attitude and walked away. Crazy ugly behavior. We basically ignored her, but that paired with the food that went downhill means we aren’t coming back. Some of the meat wasn’t cooked all the way. They don’t even have buns or sliders anymore. There are many better Hawaiian restaurants around!

Solid place, food is great. My gripes: the tables are sticky and gross and you are asked to tip, but do not get a waiter, you get to bus your own table.

I come here pretty often and normally they’re pretty decent. They’ve raised their prices a bit, but I live close so I’m here a few times a month. Today though, I ordered a loco moco and they literally gave me the most burned patty I’ve ever had in my life. I have to say that it was straight up inedible, I tried to cover it up with gravy and rice but it crumbled so bad and literally tasted like char. Incredibly disappointing, I truly can’t believe how someone thought it was ok to serve a patty burned that badly.

Every time I come here the don’t disappoint this is my go to Hawaiian restaurant. The food is fantastic and so is their Mac salad. If you don’t like it yourself you don’t know food!

Neighborhood go-to for great Hawaiian. Chicken is always succulent l. They usually run through their spam musubi by late afternoon but it's delicious.

The food was absolutely delicious here and the portion sizes are large so definitely is at least two meals worth of food. It's a casual dine-in or take out spot. I got the shoyu chicken plate and it came with a hefty side of veggies, rice, and very flavorful chicken. Partner got a mai tai and he thought it was ok. He loved the food he ordered though! Friends of ours got the curry and they absolutely loved it.
