Wonderful quality classic deli food with no fuss, amazing prices and a very unique setting in this nearly untouched 1984 shopping mall. Homemade soups are great too, plus a nice selection of chips.

I love some nostalgia. As a life long Portlander I love seeing things like Aunt Tillie's a place that pays homage from the past. Food is great too for a deli spot.

Wow, hidden gem. Delicious sandwiches on fantastic bread. We loved it so much, we returned the next time we were in the city, and it was a bit out of our way.

My experience with this place was not good unfortunately due to the three young Teens that were there working. I am an Uber driver and had an order to fulfill by a certain time. Just one simple sandwich. The time I arrived, the order was supposed to already be fulfilled, but the girls said they couldn’t find the order and then admitted that they actually didn’t see the ticket for the order. I told them that was OK and I would wait. They were chitchatting the entire time and talking away. They were not working they were Just standing around talking. I waited over 20 minutes for them to make the sandwich and then I stood up and asked how much longer until the sandwich was ready. This place was not busy. No one else was waiting on an order only me. When I asked how much longer one of the young girls said oh sorry I forgot it was already ready. I just have to bag it up completely rude. I would never come here! I see this place has been around since the 80s they need to think about hiring some better employees that actually care about their customers.

Incompetence. Waited 40 minutes and got a refund because my sandwiches were still not done. Five employees were on, only one making sandwiches, this is a poorly managed kitchen, the owner needs to know! This is not the first time I have waited too long; I keep trying to support my local non-corporate spot, only to be burned each time. “Sorry we’re busy” is the response, but the service is slow even when you are the only there. This is a sandwich shop which struggles to make sandwiches, figure it out guys. Maybe I’ll try to support them again someday.

Reminds me of a deli in New York. Great food & seasonings on point. The homemade soups, yes please. Just yumiee. AND thank you for using shredded lettuce. 😁

Cool old school deli. Food is good. The people working the counter always seem grumpy and poorly trained.

We had the Ruben and the club. Both sandwiches were nice to eat but I didn't feel that they were anything special. The price is a little high for not including a side, but I'd still go back if I was hungry and in the area. The guys working were friendly and personable. The tables were pretty sticky even though they had been wiped down. I'm guessing too much soap in the cleaning bottles. But I'd take that over dirty tables any day! Overall... I wouldn't make a special trip, but I also wouldn't say no if a friend wanted to have lunch there.

I don’t know what happened but you shouldn’t have so much trouble heating up soup that you have to put ice in it, but if you do then you have to be mindful of how long the ice is in it, otherwise you serve cold soup.

Bread was stale, the sandwich lacked flavor and was extremely wet. I wouldn't order from here again.

Driving home to Seattle from Bend. Needed something to help hanger. The club sandwich was delicious and hit the spot. It was awesome even when smoked turkey was used because out of regular turkey.
