Be warned, they must've closed recently. Their website/ordering site says nothing of the sort so don't get tricked into buying food you won't get.Bummer cause the other reviews made the food sound great. =/
Food was amazing and portions big, the atmosphere could be a little bit better, it was very quiet.

Walked in randomly for the first time with a group of friends. Food was fantastic and the guy running the place was a joy to talk to. Highly recommended!!

I have eaten and worked in many Mediterranean restaurants and food carts , I tried many different dishes, but I want to say one of the best Mediterranean dishes and services is Babas Restaurant. I like the organic food that they make, homemade food, and sauces. If I need to eat everyday food outside definitely babas restaurant, you get value for price.

I visited Babbs Medtrain Grill unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The chicken dish I ordered was overcooked and dry. Additionally, the service was slow, and it took an unusually long time to receive our food. I understand that it was busy and can happen, but this was quite disappointing. I suggest improving kitchen quality control and ensuring efficient service during peak hours. I hope these issues can be addressed because I believe the restaurant has great potential."

The experience at the Alberta location was so bad it was comical. This is a counter service place where the food is all prepared and you just pick what you want...like Chipotle. We were told it would be 20 minutes to have chicken ready for kabobs. But that's the least of the issues here. The person working there didn't seem to want to be there at all. It took minutes of standing in front of the counter for him to acknowledge us. We'd order something and he would just walk away slowly and, I guess, be getting stuff from the kitchen, but there was no communication. There are several other weird and awkward things he did that are too long to write. Just avoid this place; the food isn't great and it's not worth it when there are many other places to eat nearby.

I liked this place a lot, it's good food and also affordable compared to the other places near by. The food was warm and I liked the things you could add into your pita like the pickled onions. The pita is soft and fluffy. The person behind the counter was very nice. I'm Arab, and this was a nice way to have lunch I didn't have to work for. I don't like frying falafel but they're falafel was not dry or hard. I hope they do well because I want them to stay in the neighborhood. When I come back I'll try the lentil soup and maybe a dessert. Shukran baba

This place is ready to just go out of business. This was the 2nd time ordering because I thought maybe the meat was just overcooked and dry on the 1 occasion, and sadly No. They keep the meats in a drawer so maybe at some point it was good but hopefully I just didn't get food poison because it wasn't even warm. Sad to see a place be so cheap that they don't even try. Portland is a food town and its no wonder this place is always empty.Edit: after reading some reviews, they were clearly paid and obvious don't be fooled. I should have walked out the second the drawer of meat opened, and the dry bits hit the bowl. Buyer beware.

Freshest, healthiest, tastiest food! Their falafels are the BEST we've ever had and that's what keeps us coming back for more. All of their sauces are made fresh. Almost everything (including the gyros) are gluten free and all of the sauces except the tzatziki are vegan. Egyptian owned and absolutely the NICEST people that work there. Highly recommend this place. We've been going there since they opened 4 years ago and can't say enough good things about it!

Walked in 10 minutes before closing time and Rami was still ready and happy to fry me up some falafel (best falafel I’ve had in PDX this year!)

I had the lamb & beef shawarma in a pita. It was delicious! Fresh made lamb & beef with a pick your own ingredients in the pita. Highly recommend, cute restaurant with easy to go food if needed. Prices very reasonable too.
