Delicious meal of the day. It was some kind of fish which I truly enjoyed. I have a well traveled palette so I asked for some extra garlic butter and lemons to add to my fish just in case. But I was pleasantly surprised at how perfectly seasoned the dish was. Well done Backwoods! I have attached before and after pics of my plate to show how much I enjoyed the meal.However, I was disturbed by how liberally the staff sprayed the table adjacent to us with a Peroxide solution, and then wiped it down with a cloth. This happened just after our meals were served. It happened again while we had our drinks after the second group left the same table. I worry that the spray's microparticules will travel to meals and drinks nearby and as a result we are subconsciously ingesting a cleaning agent!! I suggest that you spray the solution on a cloth away from food and drink, and then just wipe the table with the cloth. I would otherwise have given Backwoods 5 stars....

10/10 service. Every time I come here I am greeted with enthusiasm and kindness. The bartenders and servers are ALWAYS so sweet to me and everything is very timely. Food is SO good, I always get the chicken ceasar wrap, 10/10.

It was super nice and I loved the place. It's kinda a hidden but not. The server was sweet and very attentive. The food was amazing. Everyone loved their burgers and or chicken n tots. Best chicken and tots plate I've ever had. The raspberry lemonade was super good sweet and refreshing. I can't wait to come back especially for date night. I'm so glad we have this place in Portland with great prices, plenty of food, great service and great place to be in. Had a great time.

Pretty good line-up of beers here. Fast service. Food looked decent but we didn't order any. Bartender was friendly and quick. I will say that we struggled to find 2 beers on the list that we really wanted, and certainly not enough for a flight. So keep the tour rolling with just one was our choice.

5 stars doesn't do this place justice. Great atmosphere, great food, and literally the best beer in the world. Marissa M was an incredibly sweet and amazing server. She made my partner and my night, and our 5th anniversary truly special.
The food does not disappoint. Loved the Kayla’s Garden pizza. Delicious Bloody Mary’s too.

I tried a beer taster with IPAs and stout, my favorites. All OK but IPAs not hoppy enough and stouts too sweet for my taste.The NW salad with brisket was awesome though. My husband's chili was deliciously smokey and the pretzels with house-made cheese sauce were delectable. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegan options
Fun brewery in the Pearl District of Portland with a variety of options on tap, with curious flavor mixes and strong beers.It looks like a place the locals like to frequent as there were a few regulars watching the game.Didn’t order food as this was a post-dinner stop for us, but the beers were very curious. They had a creamsicle beer as weak as a s’mores beer. Both tasted as advertised, which again, was interesting. Cool spot and would come back to try other flavors down the line.

Service was kind. Food was great. Beer was EXCELLENT. Recommend the sausage melt and the fiesta wrap BIG TIME. Also all of the stouts, the pecan pie porter, and the Comfy Womfy are killer beers…and I’ve drank a lot of craft beer.

Nice atmosphere but the beer was not the best for my liking. The Stumbler tasted like a leather boot strap. We had to search with our forks for cheese on the nachos. The bartender was friendly.
