Danielle, owner of Backyard Social, was such an incredible help and host for our team event at this bar on a short timeline. Not only was she communicative, she was able to accommodate a few oddities for our group.
The food was delicious, location was perfect size, drinks were awesome (kudos to the surprise pirate cocktail!) and the staff were beyond exceptional. Our entire team (~30) had nothing but good things to say about the Backyard Social team, and we are so grateful to this crew for hosting us.

I’ve been here several times, and honestly the food is just mediocre at best. It’s been sorely disappointing every time we’ve been here. It’s a cool spot and I want to like it, but they just need better food if they want to make it in Portland.

Nice back yard ambiance. Enjoyed the complimentary dill popcorn but not my partner bc there's something about it that keeps going up our nostrils ?♀️. We enjoyed the hangar steak done medium rare. The grilled veggie dishes like the broccolini and summer squash were enjoyable too. The cocktail that i enjoyed was the Old Sway with rye, bitters, and orange peel.
