Fourteen years ago, my husband and I moved into this neighborhood, where we frequently enjoyed lunches and dinners together. It's disheartening to note that in recent years, possibly after Daniel's departure, the quality of the establishment has plummeted significantly. Both the food and service have become appallingly terrible. Despite giving it a few more chances, each visit was as disappointing as, if not worse than, the last, leading to apprehension every time we considered going back. Bambuza, once a neighborhood favorite, has sadly lost its charm, leaving us wishing for a replacement that could reignite our anticipation. ?

The food is terrible and the service is even worse. A waiter solicited me into the bathroom. He pushed me up against the wall and began rubbing his dick up and down really fast. I tried very hard to push him off but he was very heavy. I highly recommend everyone, especially all women, to stay far, far away from here. Food and service both disgusting. I suggest Bambuza teach its staff to learn common sense first: keep your dick in your pants.

FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! I ordered the drunked crispy chicken. My friend ordered the ban mi and shrimp fresh rolls and we both had a rice beer. Everything great. Ban mi was bigger than I accustomed to. Fresh shrimp rolls were healthy in portion. My drunken crispy chicken.was flavorful and healthy in portion. Wait staff was great and nice. Ill definitely come back here when I'm back in town.

Extremely disappointed in the pho and salad rolls. Pho was one big hard lump of noodles. Almost like they'd been cooked a awhile, and they never relaxed and broke apart in the broth. All I could taste was salt in the broth. The salad rolls were OK, but the peanut sauce was too sweet. If you are looking for authentic pho this is not the place.

This place is fast. Drunken chicken is my favorite. They have salad rolls and pho. They do have cocktails. It's a nice spot.

The food was edible but I'm still pretty disappointed I spent my money here. The salad rolls were pretty gross and the peanut sauce was weirdly sweet and not very peanutty. The coconut shrimp seemed like it came frozen in a box and microwaved.

The worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. The hostess was extremely unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate, and aggressive. When my order take out order was given to another patron, this individual assured me my meal would be covered at “no expense.” When finally receiving my items, I asked for confirmation about the refund only to find to have the same individual, whom asserted my meal would be at no cost, attempt to backtrack this agreement. Upset with this lack of honesty, I asked to speak to the manager and which time this person came from behind the counter only to cuss as me in front of other guests with a very aggressive posture. Calmly, I again asked to speak to the manager and eventually everything was taken care of. As I write this, I am still in shock that someone could treat a customer so poorly. I would strongly recommend you avoid this establishment at all costs as I intend on never returning until new, quality employees can be hired.

I normally really like this place. Typically if you order something it's ready to go pretty quickly. However I ordered my food and waited 50 minutes before went up and checked the status of my order. They said it would be another 10 minutes. I'm pretty sure they just forgot about me. I was sitting there for over an hour for a to go order. Also as I was waiting for my food to be boxed up. Another man had his order misplaced which he had ordered an hour ago and was told that it would be another 10-15 minutes. I'm livid. I'm angry that I left a tip at the beginning.

Rice was served cold. The vegetables in it were even cold. They were frozen veggies not fresh. I told the young guy at the counter he didn't care. Brought it back to our room and warmed it up on the microwave, but the price we paid definitely should have been warm.

Not totally authentic but a good place for lunch. Fried spring roll was piping hot and tasty. Had grilled chicken with salad and rice. Shout-out to the counter person who checked the ingredients in the fish sauce and made sure they didn't include shellfish (thanks, person with datk curly hair and glasses !) Thai iced coffee very good too. Street parking and interesting neighborhood with new apartment buildings and small stores (Bluestar Donuts.... mmmm) Good place if exploring the area.

Great Service, walk up and order your items. Food was okay and prices are on the steep side for the quality. It was a rainy night and I didn't want to go too far, so I found this spot within a couple of blocks from my daughter's place here in South Portland, I ordered my usual Pho and spring rolls, honestly the food was fresh but it lacked the flavors of what I'm used to. Not sure I'll be back when visiting Portland, lots of other nearby places to try. Parking was in the front of building. I didn't notice if there was underground parking ?

Honestly, my girlfriend and I thought the food tasted reheated but the service was good.
